With the release of the Apple Vision Pro's, a debate has started about VR headsets and being able to wear them 24 hours a day. Many state that the Meta Quest 3 is the same headset only cheaper. In this video, I put both these statements to the test and live my day to day life wearing a VR headset for 24 hours.

Just report them when they admit they are under 13. It's illegal to use a Meta Quest under 13 regardless of your home nation since Meta is held to the laws of the US. Even if you're in a country that doesn't apply the no-children under 13 on the internet they'll kick the account to protect themselves.

A friend of mine is on vrchat all the time- Like literally all the time, they sleep in the headset every night and it isn't even the newest oculus. Watching this I am just befuddled at how the heck they can manage to pull that off-

Dumb challenge. I would never wear any VR headset for 24 hours. The most I do at one time is 1-2 hours and doing VR gaming, not AR passthrough. For my pocket book and budget, The Quest 3 is just fine for me for just doing VR gaming, nothing else. If you have 3500 dollars to throw away on a VR headset, then go ahead and do it. I think you have to have another very expensive Apple computer or product to use the VR headset. So you may be spending over 5000 dollars to use Apple Vision VR.

bit sad you didn't had a great experience with vrchat, but that is the issue nowadays with public quest lobbies it's just filled with underage kids. You can still have a great experience in public lobbies, but it's just a lot harder nowadays, mostly going to events is the best.

Imagine how in the future we’ll probably have the same shitty VR but its integrated into much smaller tech so we’ll have all this but in the form of glasses to better mesh with day to day life. And then eventually they get more affordable, as you get bundles like “Free Iphone with purchase of Apple Glasses” or “Free Apple Glasses with purchase of Apple Home Insurance.” All this until eventually everyone is in VR and we publicly shame the people who aren’t because VR makes life so much easier and more enjoyable (you dont need to pay to fly to italy just use your VR.) You walk down the street and see 50 people, all using their VR systems, and this is normal. 👁️

Virtual reality has been around since the 90's. It's not new by any means and apple is just leaching off of the success of Meta. The quest 3 could be the best AR headset if that's what it was made for, but it was made for virtual reality; not augmented. The vision pro was made ONLY for augmented reality and has no ability to play any games. The quest 3 is the better headset overall, but if you're only looking for AR, I guess the vision pro is for you.

I've actually been teaching myself to make scrambled eggs recently. It's not idiot proof, I'm not gonna lie. My ADHD brain isn't always great at remembering every mix-in and you have to time it right and adjust the heat to make sure it doesn't overcook. So I feel this challenge. 😂

VR Is so much different to AR. It isnt meant to be worn like this, its mainly for gaming. The apple headset is AR. Its focussed on the ar lenses etc, you cant play the games you can on occulus.

Back in my days, if we were on the internet, we were told to lie about everything, especially your age and name. It was a way to keep our privacy and be safe. I feel like discomfort is a good thing. It makes you not want it too often cause it hurts and seeing how damaging it is to you're eye's, that's a good thing!
