This woman and her department couldn’t successfully run a bodega! These enquiries are a waste of time, and never seem to accomplish anything!

Giving these federal Agency Secretaries the questions prior to these hearings is a waste of time and money. All it does is make the Senators and Representatives appear like they have knowledge of a subject matter that was written by their legal team too. Meanwhile after all of this theater American debt and inflation climb higher and higher with more government spending in these silly agencies that do nothing to help our economy grow.

Of course, there is a need to have answers properly researched & vetted before any testimony as there are so many issues & areas which overlap (hv to research past legislation for precedents, ensure the legality of the proposals, etc.) and verify outside issues which are impacted, the how, when, where, who are impacted and at this level the need to try to give accurate information is crucial. Many do not realize how intricate, time-consuming and complex this whole process until you experience it first hand and this allows one to gain a better understanding of seeing the process from the top going down as opposed to the perspective of viewing it as a lay person looking up, but trust, policy makers or those who are involved do their best to understand the impact seeing these issues through both perspectives through the national lens, an individual lens, state lens, local lens, global lens and all the in-between but of course, ultimately, the process is far from perfect and these interactions and questions & reviews are needed as it can introduce new insights & concerns that may not have been known before or reaffirm/challenge what is on the table. The best hope is that the person who is in that chair is sincere in doing the best job they can do, but it’s a responsibility & challenge that many would not be able to do, so I give credit for those who accept that position. Of course, it’s unfortunate, that we find there are times that individuals or leaders fail to uphold the the task of that responsibility either from greed or any other bad motive and as a nation & as citizens we are the ones who suffer.
