You should bring a trash bag with you and teach the kids to keep the outdoors clean. We always pick up trash along any walks we take. Leave the outdoors cleaner than when you got there.

We had a family memorial on our property. It included a small cemetery around the memorial. One of the men buried in the memorial was an Army officer(in the North) during the Cival War. Every year, the Army Volunteer Legion put a new, small size American flag by the headstone. Seeing the small flag made me write this information for you. Thank you for the memory!

I love that you let your kids to be kids. I enjoy all the hikes you go on and all the bugs and animals that you let everyone know about. My sisters and I took a trip to Maine a couple of years ago in the fall and the leaves are beautiful.

I live in Ky. and I got Alpha Gal from a tick bite..I have had it for 2 years. it is you are allergic to red meat, milk, cheese..anything to do with cows, lamb, and pigs..I am so tired of just eating fish chicken and turkey..someday I might be able to eat red meat again..I love your videos..and you have a beautiful family.

Oak balls are generally caused from insects that attack trees..that lay eggs and such on the tree branches or leaves. It is kinda a self defense mechanism of abnormal cell growth from the oak tree. It encases the egg or whatever and it grows around it.. protecting the tree but eventually whatever is inside hatches and bores it's way out ..by then .. sometimes the oak ball falls to the ground..

Oh man, I was hoping to reach out to you before you started heading south again. I guess if yo are the Wells maine area, you are probably going south again. Anyway, I was hoping to catch up with you in the western foothills of maine. Livermore, to be exact. I live a beautiful pond (lake) with a wonderful trail that goes to the old village of brettuns pond. I just know that you would love it. If it's not too late. Maybe we can meet up. Oh mygish. There's actually a single rv lot that my neighbor has and rents out. His name Jimmy Timberlake. He's a snow bird. I know that you could stay they , it's why he has it.
