I’d love to see y’all consult with a web accessibility SME and showcase stylish web designs like this that are accessible/educate on how to make web designs like this accessible outside of solely adding ALT text. Accessible web design matters and it’d be wonderful to see Framer at the forefront of promoting accessibility practices. Could make a cool RU-vid series!
Amazing - thanks for sharing all these super high quality tutorials with us! Top tier stuff! Based on what you know about how dragging and freeform canvases work in Framer, how hard do you think it is to have dynamic things happen like snapping objects to other objects on drag? Or having a wire connected to an object move around with the object like when you connect boxes together in Figjam?
Could you do a tutorial on how to make animations such as hover only play once? I realize this involves importing code but having a tutorial showing framer users how they can do even more by importing code would be extremely helpful
@@framer.university my hero section has something I've imported from spline. it takes a second to load, so my workaround was to have a blank white frame/section on top of it. Once the user hovers their mouse over it, the white frame/section would fade off, revealing the fully loaded hero section with the spline animation. However, when I scroll down the page and back up to the hero section, I have the same hover effect with the blank white frame/section. I'm trying to find out how to do a code override so that the hover only plays once
Hey Nandi, this looks awesome! Just curious-these freeform sites usually have that infinite canvas movement, right? You know, like when you keep dragging in one direction, and it sort of resets and brings you back to the same spot? Is there a way to replicate that on Framer?
This is incredible ❤ Love your channel and your narration and way of teaching. I have a question tho. Is there a way to set all of this up for a monitor width size of 3840px? I don’t really understand why the framer native desktop size is 1200px. I use your canvas as a base for my portfolio website since Freeform makes it so much easier to place my elements wherever I want. But no matter what I try my header picture in my 3840px width desktop frame remains in the 1200px size in preview mode. I would appreciate any help since I’m new to framer. I’m sorry if my question is stupid, just urgently need to bring my design into a fully functional website as fast as possible.
Can you please teach “Horizontal scrolling” on framer Can’t seem to find any good tutorial anywhere. I’m Pretty new to framer so I have a lot of catching up to do on this channel Thanks, Cheers
Hi, I was wondering if it's possible to use any of your resources in template I want to sell, if I edit it of course, or if it's forbidden. Thank you very much for your reply and I appreciate your great work.❤
Your video clip is very helpful. When you create a gallery site in framer, I would appreciate it if you could tell me how to click on the image in the gallery to see it pop up and zoom in, and if you click it again, the pop-up disappears. And if there is a way to write a prompt like that, please let me know that as well.
Is there any way to build an interactive website based on this premise? i.e. Have the image components be thumbnails in a sense and when you click on one it zooms into it and a text description slides out from under the image, within the frame you have the option to 'zoom out' or go back to the 'menu' that is the overall canvas
Actually I have a problem in another project - I have a finished website which works perfectly, but accidently when I copied an element and when I start to scroll the horizontal scroll starts in the background. Actually nothing happens, but when I turn to the bottom of the site its getting huge and it can be fixed when I turn off overflow to hidden, but my effects are turning off too if I make this change. I can't just turn off the overflow X somehow, so its pretty annoying. If I can send you somewhere the link to my page and you would have an idea to solve it that would be amazing :)
Does anyone know if it is possible to make it scrollable in all directions? So it works just with a 2 finger swipe on the trackpad..would be waaaay nicer..noone is dragging around like that tbh..
@@framer.university Would this effect, with the extended canvas, still work as a hero section? So you would be able to scroll past it to other normal functioning sections.
