Just remember Judy. There was a girl who got a single piece of glitter in her eye, and it ended up with her having to get her entire eye removed due to severe infection. Please don't lose your eyes.

Judy you should do a spinoff series where you bring a picture of some of the most notoriously awful looks the worst-rateds have done, and you take it to a best-rated makeup artist and have them recreate the look but good.
Absolutely - just because the colours are intense doesn't mean they can't look vibrant, fun and glamorous. It would be a great festival or gala event look!
@@giovanna12345 There's a young lass out with a crime story channel - she does her makeup as she talks and looks fabulous by the end. It's often very bright colours but she applies it all very professionally.
Judy bring scotch tape with you and pull a piece off. Put a piece on your eyelid first to remove the glitter before you rub your eyes with makeup remover or a makeup wipe. Rubbing all that glitter on your eyes can cause little micro cuts to your eyes and lids and if they’re not being hygienic it could go really wrong 😳 It totally works at removing all the glitter from your eyes without hurting your fragile eyelid skin sweets❤
Just finished a 10 hour shift as a MUA and this video is pissing me off. What the hell is she doing. The undereye is something I don't even touch on most people, she just straight out tortured you. I usually laugh along at your videos, but this one is really frustrating me.
Right! And it was concealer, then eyeshadow. Then more concealer. Then MORE eyeshadow. Then EVEN MORE concealer. Common sense would tell you that is wrong.
okay one thing i will never understand about the makeup artists is how they get the foundation so BOMBASTICALLY wrong…like not even in the same shade range wrong
Probably because _they aren’t makeup artists_. They’re someone’s aunt who got looped into working for the family salon because they probably couldn’t afford to hire a real licensed MUA instead. These are usually untrained and uninterested.
YES and why they always put green? AN UGLY green. I love green but its just like the basic green. Mac has beautiful greens. Its so bad how they are. And so UNSANITARY. I'm not a professional at all but even I know that it's always soooooo bad.
The color choices always seem baffling until you notice the people doing the makeup are usually darker skinned. I know from experience that if you are dark skinned and you go to a white low cost make up artist they will also make terrible color choices. You only learn what looks best on all skin tones if you learn color theory or have experience doing it on all skin tones. These probably self taught mostly hair dressers have probably have like 3 looks they've done in themselves that look good and that's it.
Hallelujah to the colour theory. You figure out someone’s skin tone family and their contrast level and then you pick colours that match it. Admittedly, yes, it’s a little bit more difficult for makeup artists as they don’t have half an hour to drape you with coloured flags to figure out your colour season, so they have to ballpark it, but knowing colour theory at least puts you within range of what looks good on the client.
While I can't even with glitter near the eyeballs, I have to admit that green looks great on Judy. The yellow-green shades just really go with here eye and skin colours. Gorgeous despite um.....everything.
Oh my gosh, Judy… I always feel like I need to say a little prayer for your poor eyeballs when I see your videos! You certainly earn your trips to those luxury high end counters! Seeing the differences is really interesting.
you know from a make up perspective it's far from the worst we've had on the channel tho i was secondhand crying from that amount that she went over that eyeliner 😨😰 from a customer service and care perspective, horrendous, your eyes were so bloodshot and the MUA acknowledged it was making her eye stream.

I would love for Judy to go to a professional Mua to get amazing like everyday glam, then go to a lowest rated place with it on, saying she just slapped it on, then have them wipe it off and do their look. Wonder if it would make them nervous…
I’m kinda shocked how bad these are.. and you are brave, only thing I’d actually worry about unless they are opening a new mascara in front of you and gifting it at the end I wouldn’t let them use the mascara without disposable wands as we can all imagine lord knows what bacteria is in those crusty old tubes.
@@raaaaaaarr doing makeup I couldn’t find the wands for a while locally, so I had to buy a couple mini mascaras for this reason. We all have tiny lil bugs that can spread this way.
The glitter peeling off is just a high artistic concept, symbolising her inspiration that Judy mentioned in the video - reptiles 🦎 we do not deserve this MUA and her art 😂

The MUA had matching orange hair and nails. A warning sign! Be careful, Judy. That glitter could really do some damage to your eyes. Be careful... you don't want a scratched cornea. I'm actually allergic to glitter, so that the MUA used it without asking is a big no-no. It's a health hazard for me. (If you're interested, usually my skin reacts to glitter with redness, puffiness, it itches and sometimes if there's a lot of glitter I even get like wheal skin - if that's what it's called, English is not my native language)

How hard would it have been to take that q-tip and pull down so your waterline would have been completely exposed vs what she did?? And when are these "MUA's" going to learn to do the eyes 1st then work on the base. The FULL base?!? Especially when they choose to use such dark, vibrant colors. If I counted correctly she used 3 brushes to apply the lower lashline green. 3 😮 When a simple pencil brush would have done the job 😂
You can use tape like scotch tape any kind really to get the glitter off just keep sticking and pulling gently and it will remove most of the glitter to make getting the eye makeup off easier!

Imagine if you were there for real with an important event that night. And you had to go like that. A shiny green dress would be ideal haha.
