Man, I need to step up my “Nic Percussion RU-vid Channel” game

having a mode tempo of 220bpm does not necessarily mean most of their show is at 220, it just means that the most common tempo that their show is at is 220. for example, if 40% of the show is at 220, 30% is at 160, and 30% is at 100, then the mode is still 220 despite most of the show not being at 220. love the video tho! statistics and wgi marimba are two of my favorite things

I feel like the hand speed statistic should be separated between double lat, triple lat, and alternating hand speed since it’s easier/harder to achieve certain speeds depending on how you’re playing

It would be interesting to see a study based on dynamic expression, duration of time spent in certain dynamics, consistency of phrasing, variability of touch and approach, and overall musicality. Perhaps a much clearer achievement based study rather than who has the most "content." Clearly, content alone does not win if it is just a black page.

should add a metric for board utilization (How many notes on the board and how often are being used) to sorta quantafy spread.
