We went to OC and shuttled a bunch of laps. There has been a lot of rain the past week so there were trails that were still a little muddy so we decided to stay off of them. We pretty much did a bunch of laps on 2 trails.
I noticed a small crack on the top of my rear triangle. I could tell that the crack was pretty small and only 1 or 2 layers deep. I knew the frame was ok so I kept riding but just didnt try any big hits.
The warranty process was really easy. Since I purchased my bike at Spoke X they took care of the warranty process with Santa Cruz. They just wanted clear pictures of the frame to make sure the crack wasnt from an impact of a crash. It took about a week and they agreed to warranty the rear triangle for free. I now have to get the rear triangle to Element 6 and they will paint it.
