Dont feel too bad they're still barely worth anything unless it's a 9-10. So unless you graded them early on or bought a graded version before they rocketed in price you still wouldn't make much.

I mean it depends on how well he took care of them if he didnt open the package. If they haven't been opened and theres absolutely no damage then they can still be rated. So who knows he might have a couple grand either way

@@kodyyoung867 litterally no one took care of those cards back in the day unless you really did and then you wouldn't be keeping them in the back of your closet. Unless you are super lucky, didn't play with them, didn't care for pokemon all that much, didn't toss them in the trash or didn't gave them away along the way (cause that is what usually happened to those binders from those kids). Which I just doubt. It's fair enough to doubt those odds mate.

@@RalphVB well i usually agree with you but half a year ago this kinda happened to me. When the Pokemon cards hype came i remembered i had opened a base set 1st edition years ago and told my parents so. We all werent sure if i sold them or kept them but i always treated my stuff extremely well and neatly. Sunday morning my mom comes into my room with a binder she found on the attic. I had the biggest smile on my face and couldnt believe it. Few starters, pikachus, commons and rares all 1st edition. But the best part is the 12 holos, all in i would say psa 7-10 condition. Gonna get them graded this year. Unfortunately they are not in english because i am from germany but its still one of my favourite things that happened to me the last few years lol
