Welcome to my channel! My name is Verne Troyer and you might recognize me from the big screen somewhere. However, on my RU-vid channel, you will find all kinds of videos such as my Q&A show, Ask Verne, and challenges with different RU-vidrs like Roman Atwood and Logan Paul! I got one of the small drones like you have and i do good to keep it in the air and even one time i panicked and pushed the wrong lever and my drone went out of sight and i figured out what i had done and tried to spot it but only by chance heard it on the way down and had to walk back and forth across a hay field for 45 minutes before i was lucky enough to find it. Thanks for sharing this video Verne. You are the coolest.

Nice flying Verne. Any day out flying always makes my day better. Glad to see you getting some air time. You gotta check out some first person view flying with goggles. It's the closest thing to driving a formula one without the risk but all the adrenaline. - JD.

Hey Vern salutations from Ford City PA, USA,i thought you did really good for your first time flying a drone, in fact you did a hell of a lot better than most people would have, just keep flying, and it will come pretty easy soon enough one tip i would like to share with you is when the drone is facing you if it is going to the right, push the right stick on the radio to the right and the quadcopter will then go left, always remember when the drone is facing you,right is left and left is right on the control sticks. I now have fourteen drones. Everyone has difficulty in the beginning. I've had to climb trees, wade through thorns and crap, had one fly away (i never found it), had one land and die on top of a Toys R Us, crashed tons of times, had to learn to fix them,..... Still not a pro but I'm a lot better than I was. It's a fun but expensive hobby.

I did that once and almost lost both. One landed on top of my house with no power to lift off again. Suspended a bent coat hanger from a larger drone. After a few tries I hooked it! But it was too heavy. I managed to have the larger one drag the downed drone until they both fell to the ground. Minimal damage, thankfully. The Toyz R Us manager was kind enough to receive that one for me. I was flying in their parking lot at about 1:30am. Had to wait until they opened the next day.

This video just paints a wrong picture of how you get started into drones. It's much more simple! You don't need FPV! In fact, all these add-ons/gimmicks make everything more complicated. Buy a Syma X5C and learn the controls (maybe use a simulator app on your phone!). Then try to fly it. Let your brain do the rest. If anyone starts with GPS, OK, he can fly on GPS. But he can't fly a drone!

I started out with the Hubsan H107 quadcopter with no GPS and it took me 3 months to learn how to fly it so it's not something you learn right away. So have fun and enjoy the experience.

You can see it can be really difficult for him to manipulate everyday devices. These are things the rest of us take for granted because everything is made to fit the size of our hands and arms. Verne if you wanna good first drone suggestion thats super cheap and easy to learn to fly on id suggest the syma x5 its cheap around 40-50 bucks and its easy to learn on and durable af
