They probably should of. I believe you have to “read the room” when you go somewhere, also NOBODY was screaming at the models. It cheapened the event for sure and reinforces one of the many stereotypes they have for us when we travel abroad.
@@jaysav888 Did you know that the designer of the event was sitting right next to me he didn't say a thing, He was with The woman in pink sitting down in the middle she was smiling at me, the main photographer of the event gave me a nice handshake and thank you at the end of the event. Out of all the photographers that were at the event the models came to me and ask for my pictures. let me tell you something man sometimes people are highly favored.

Have you considered visiting Corn Islands? I visited Managua and Masaya on a study abroad opportunity in 2012 and met an Afro-Carribean woman in Masaya who told me "we're in big Corn Island"

Ace funny as hell.. go to Bluefields, Corn island… San Juan del Sur, Granada, Leon. Nicaragua is beautiful, it’s off the beaten path.. if you want run of the mill it’s not your country. I wish I was down there I would give you the real deal about the Caribbean-black people of Nicaragua. Beautiful and humble people. Love it down there.. from a fellow Floridian.
