I never should have went on this ride. I knew the conditions were not ideal. But peer pressure got the best of me. It's been over a year since my last crash. I thought I would make through this year without one. Should I just stop riding? #crash #motovlog #insta360 701 Rider = ‪@Antprilia.‬

The only things contributing to that accident was too much speed and too little traction for the corner. The more you partake in these high-risk behaviours, the greater the chance of an accident and injury. Be safe out there Max.

Turn off traction control in fact, turn off all the electronics start from the beginning learn how to ride. The bike saves you more than you know due to its electronics. Number one learn throttle control number two listen to yourself when it says don’t ride because your tires worn out temperature is dropping, etc. That’s my advice.

Max I'm glad that you are ok and that you went back to the site to analyze why you crashed. After re-watching the video I think something bottomed out first before you lost rear traction. The light colored ground scrapes you describe are present in the crash day video and start well before the tire sliding to the right of them as shown in the follow up. I'd highly recommend sending that bike to GMD, FrameMan or someone similar to confirm geometry - straighness. Having watched a few of your track videos I think my previous comments are still appropriate... At the speeds you are riding, I believe you would find of benefit some legitemate competition riding training. Keith Code, Yamaha School etc. Sucks seeing you risk yourself and these beautiful expensive machines to distruction. Fast motorcycle riding is no joke..on or off the track.

ADVICE TO ALL MOTORCYCLIEST: DO NOT RACE WITH OTHER BIKERS AT PUBLIC ROADS, (because an animal or a tractor can jump from no where)DO NOT RIDE TOO CLOSE TO OTHER VEHICLES INCLUDING BIKES. If you want to race go to special tracks for that, NOT IN PUBLIC ROADS.

@AFM674

Exactly, bikes don’t crash and you can’t blame the tire. It was you and only you that made the mistake. I’ve ridden on a Dunlop GP Pro and the rear was down to the cords. I didn’t do this on purpose and the tire dropped off gradually. It was starting to slide around, but was very controllable because I wasn’t leaned over to 52-55 degrees when I picked up the throttle. Once I pulled over and noticed I just cruised home. Moral of my story is don’t lean over to the max lan angle right before apex on a downhill turn and open up the throttle as much as you did. It came around so easy all because of your unwillingness to stay at a neutral throttle for just a few mor feet the pick the bike up a little before giving in the beans. Watch Jake Gagne ride. I hope you stop blaming the bike or tires. You’ve got to figure it out sooner than later. Max Wrist was the problem 😂

Just my two cents but there’s a lot more bridges on the dragon then people realize and when it gets late and cool, the road gets more dew over the bridges than the rest of the road just before it gets dark and that is one of the corners that has a bridge or a culvert going underneath the road when it’s cool out we should all know where they are!!! glad you’re OK!!! poor bunny, was terrified!!!😮😢❤

ride more slowly. don't chase other riders. ride at the speed that feels comfortable to you. if they leave you behind it's not a problem. crashing is a problem. it's not a competition. you can't rely on sensors. you need to rely on what feels right and the sensors are just reminders. consider yourself lucky that you're ok. riding solo is a good option or ride with people that like to ride more slowly and who will slow down if they get too far ahead. i've been riding since i was 5 and i like to ride alone at night. good luck and be safe.

TBH the speeds were low enough where you had generally been OK with an off providing you stayed on your own side of the road, relying on traction control to keep you rubber side down though was always going to be a risk, worn tyres or not. Pass that limit and it goes real wrong, real quick. Would love to ride those roads, we have some great riders roads in the UK but on most the speeds are too high, not that I have a problem with that, but, if it all goes wrong you're not walking away so easily.

Its a good thing you slid after the waterfall. If you would’ve slept earlier, you would’ve fallen into the water and would be harder.

If you manage to crash a bmw s1000rr you really have pushed the electronics over the limit… no adding lean while opening throttle, my first lesson on track 😅

At least you didn't graft yourself to a tree this time. I'll be 75 in late July 2024 and I still ride my Harley, but my version of riding looks more like WALKING compared to the way you guys ride. Hope you don't have any more serious crashes.

If you ignore numerous traction warnings (and what is that huge warning at 3:57?) and instead keeping pushing harder, then a crash is pretty much inevitable. Just use your brain.

I don't know if this helps, but I have had a crash or two one very serious, I got back on it , ride it like I stole it .

Open road ... play stupid games, win stupid prices ... relying on electronics makes no sense, stay safe

I've seen other people crash because you had to squeeze through and break-check them because the corner came to soon, you crashed a couple of times becausyou went over the limits. Where is this going??

It's the same shit every time, you overpace it because you want to keep up with a group or impress somebody.. if your traction control is lighting up every corner, you know you're overdoing it you're just too damn aggressive on it.. Traction control is supposed to help you if you are a little too agressive on the gas once, its not supposed to save you every corner you take just because you think you can go full throttle every exit... If you're riding like this, and more and more ppl are becaue TC is widley avaliabe, maybe get a bike without it, slowly approch the limit and then stay under it. rideing on the street you always need a good percentage of safety.. The tip i always give to beginners: ride alone in the beginning, if you're not skilled and mature enough to accept when someone is just rideing better/faster than you, and fall back rather than overpace you're just setup for a crash and thats not always that as lucky as you've been in the past years... Just slow down, you knew your tire was done, you knew the condition of the road was bad, you knew you were over the traction limit on almost every corner - why push it? You just couldn't resist the urge to prove yourself - a thing i myself am guilty of, but thats why i only ride with selected people or alone, else i might get myself into the same shit you are.. Just take it down a notch.

Im actually surprised that it didn’t happen ealier. A lot of leaning was done on those yellow lines. By both riders.

Atleast he wrecked himself and not someone else, sometimes I see this guy doing his "MaxWrist" thing and other riders end up going down because of him, being wreckless is fine when its just your life on the line, when you put random strangers in danger for clout it means you need some humbling as we see here in the video. Also that traction indicator lets you know where the danger is and he's just completely ignoring the bike, Yooo this guy is accelerating hard while in a deep turn and the traction indicator is flashing.
