It's nice that a studio has come out with a competitive drag racing game. This is nice because it's unknown if drag racing might die because of the EPA or some political legislation. Also, the engines suffer so much abuse that they only last about 5 runs. This is why sponsors are a big deal. Competitive drag racing is similar to Nascar. Sponsors pay the development and research into building these drag cars.

The early reviews are obviously critical so that GameMill can improve, but I'm gonna predict they add purchasable skins, a useless hub, and an in-game currency (maybe NFTs).

UPDATE Speed For All is allot better when you progress to Pro Mod in Career mode, much more challenging and does need more driver steering input, enjoying the challenge. Great to see a New NHRA Video Game out after what 15 years. Graphically it looks great and there are some great touches like watch the tires wrinkle on the burnout and the chutes are great & incarcerations speed blur is great. Now add a Sandbox mode and we have a real game.

When you cross the center line, or the outer extremity line (wall or outside of track) you get disqualified, ONLY if it is inside the racecourse. After you cross the finish line, 1000 ft for top fuel and funny car, 1320 ft for all other classes, no hitting of walls or other cars will disqualify you.

When you stage, if you wait for the green light, you’ve already lost. The objective is to cross the DQ line right as the green light comes on, that would be a perfect reaction time. You go ahead of the green light, thus, anticipating it

I don't remember hearing it in the tutorial either but just from playing around with the game over the last week or so I think the optimal temp for tires is around 200 degrees. I could be wrong. IDK

When you stage the pro stock and pro mod cars you can bring the rpms up and launch at a higher rpms.

Lol, when you back up, you gotta keep it lined up in the rubber patch so you have as much grip as possible!! Im watching and you keep reversing without any thought to how your lining up lol....that's why there was times where youd just knock the tyres off lol..... Just a helpful hint anyways....I been playing it on pc too ☺️ also, I'm a drag racing fanatic...... Oh, and perfect temperature is 176°c for the burnout!!! ☺️

Pro mod top speed is 260 mph and I heard that pro mods are a handful to drive down the drag strip 😳

When you’re in the burnout box before you actually run and I do this on the Nintendo switch version of it what you do is is that you with the with the super modified all the way up to the pro stock do it old-school basically go up to it until you’re ready to go and burn out a hold down the break and then hit the gas and stay there for a minute and then let it run out and then actually stay the temperature if not go up and temperature but whenever you do the nitro cars with a funny car and a top fuel dragster just like pretty much burping up to about a second if not a second and a half on the top feel her nails should go up to temperature of 197° and or with the Funny Car double burn it hit it once then let off gas then hit it again for a second. Your tires will be perfect every time without having to worry about sliding into the wall or anything like that.

The performance ladder (from slowest to fastest) is Super Mod > Pro Stock > Pro Mod > Funny Car > Top Fuel. Z-Max and Las Vegas are both four-lane tracks. Does multiplayer allow 4-way racing? And to my knowledge TF and FC don't actually race at SGMP in real life. 🏁340mph

You need to back up and stay on the rubber you put down in the burnout. You got to stay in the groove

This is basically NASCAR HEAT but drag cars, same astetics, similar campaign how you switch cars.

I'll tell you a trick that you're not understanding. wheel speed gets the tires up to temperature quicker during a burnout. shift through the gears, don't just stay in first gear, that's why the tires are not getting warm. I would go to about 3rd gear and they should flash to the correct heat pretty quick

your racing is fine but that Reaction Time is a a lil off. But as always your videos are fun and funny to watch.

Oh thank god Auto Club Speedway wasn’t forgotten, it was only about 6 miles away from Fontana while I lived there for the 10 out of 18 years I’ve grown up in California. 👍

neil you need to do a longer burnout like in distance, the game is waiting for you to pass a certain point, you also want to lay rubber down for a better start for traction

This is THE BEST game I've seen (so far)

Even the brakes get heavily abused while trying to come to a controlled stop, which is why if dragsters and funny cars didn’t have parachutes, your brakes would catch on fire and catastrophically fail

I heard that true NHRA drag guys have many issues with this game, including the intro movie... like one guy spotted like 10 things wrong in the intro movie alone lol... things that any true drag fan would notice, he said..

It's not even a real Camaro body they are all fiber glass shells that they make using a solid mold and the paint color is called gel coat on the bodies that is applied first in the mold the fiber glass is layed then the shell is trimmed and cut to fit over the chassis pretty cool how they make those bodies

You were spinning because you were over exceeding the burnout box there's a short distance in the burnout box you're supposed to do the burnout in and you can't go any further than that or you're going to lose control the car you got to stay within the grip

Iracing just needs to go ahead and make drag racing parts of it they got just about any type of vehicle based motor sport including rally cross so why not just go ahead add in drag racing and have a few classes like a street legal door slammer class and a local level type class that you run a 90s mustang or a Camaro something you would see at a local sat night grudge race and you work your way up just like every other type of racing in iracing and make it so realistic that you can actually use it to get better at drag racing like you can use the oval racing to learn a new track for real life or to become better at passing and driving iracing made me a 100 times better oval track asphalt and dirt latemodel racer. So they can do it with drag racing to
