Love this piece! Reminds me of some of Struzans' work- how long did it take? Amusingly, I will always associate 'Jingle All The Way' with smoking weed, as my friend had obviously just grabbed the first thing he could use (the empty VHS case) when he was looking for something he could keep all his smoking paraphernalia in. So whenever I see the cover of this wholesome family Christmas 'classic', I get a big hit of nostalgia thinking back to late teen smoking sessions 20+ years ago, despite never having even seen the film.

Comparing absolutely anything of mine to Struzan is pretty much the peak compliment I could receive. I don't think it's deserved, but it's incredibly appreciated. Also, I love your story. I have similar ones about the idiot stoners I used to hang with as a teen as well.

I intentionally left out animation...except for Nightmare Before Christmas. Wouldn't have messed well with the live-action stuff. They'd need to be in their own piece.
