No wonder why it made u wanna cry, its a kinda sad vibe and a toriyama tribute. Tori means bird in japanese, and Yama mountain. The bird and feathers references are about toriyama passing away. 1) Opening: "When your heart shrinks and you feel low" and then if you listen closely they say his name: yumewa”TORI”dori 0:39 na”YAMA”nai 0:41 “AKIRA”menai 2) Ending "Over the mountain (YAMA) we go" "I hear always you voice in my heart" "You know we're never alone". With the bird representing toriyama flying away to the sky and the lyrics meaning that he still lives in our hearts with dragon ball and his other creations.
Hey, thank you so much for this comment. You made me realize things i would have never on my own, and it makes this even more beautiful than it already is. I'm pinning your comment so that hopefully it reaches more people like me. Rest in piece Toriyama Sensei 🙏🏻
I started to cry a little too man. When I saw the feathers and the burd in the ending...I am a 24 year old man and I work 12 hour shifts at a concrete factory 😂
"I don't cry when people dies but I cry for this shit ?" Nah bro I'll tell you why you cry : you cry because Dragon Ball lifted you at some point in your life like maybe you did some sport with Goku and Vegeta training hard and become stronger in mind, you probably had some tough moments in your life where you maybe struggled and you watched Dragon Ball and it pushed you to fight back and became stronger yourself (in mind or in body or both), you cry because Dragon Ball exist in your life for so long that when Akira-san died, it crushed you at some point because you thought Dragon Ball was eternal, then the mangaka gone away... You cried maybe for other reasons but you didn't cry at "shit", you cried at a part of your life that is slowly tells you that it will be gone soon... I can tell it because it's the exact same for me and I feel you brother
