Makes me feel like I've lost something dear but can't remember what exactly I lost

When I was younger, my father used to work overtime and he would sometimes stay overnight at the hospital he worked in. I would wake up and eat breakfast with my mom, the occasional oatmeal with honey and bananas, and on that warm, sunny, Saturday Morning, Dad would come home and we'd greet each other and maybe he'd join us for breakfast. Nowadays, both my parents are busier. Now, and even then, I would only be able to see them in the morning, before they go to work. The other time of day that I get to meet them is late at night. My father works everyday of the week other than Sundays, and those warm, Saturday mornings are now replaced by a windy night, though equally as joyful, as it is one of the only times where my brother and I can see our parents. Those were simpler times and this piece reminded me of them.

I had a very intelligent teacher back in the days, you could ask him anything and he would answer you immediately, maybe the smartest person i've ever met. During one of his classes he told us how important it is to talk to people, one day they're here and in the next day they're gone, he told us about how his mother also used to be a teacher, and when she got back from work he always tried talking to her about his day, yknow have some conversation, but she was always tired, even during weekends. Now that he's a teacher, she wants to talk to him, but he's always busy. He talked about this like it was so natural, maybe he got used to not having time for himself, i legit can't imagine what he had to go through to be the person he is. i think i might send this song to him
