It's so crazy to me that people just know her as Taeyeon the soloist not Taeyeon the leader and Main Vocalist of legendary kpop girl group SNSD. Hahaha. I feel old, and this woman has made it! What separates her from newer idols and even more skilled vocalist than her is her restrain. She understands that singing and music is not always about high notes and flexing. Her dynamics control is really amazing because she's able to play with emotiveness appropriate for the song which gets us in the feels.

Glad you enjoyed Taeyeon's voice! It's been thrown around kpop a lot lately, but she is the origin story of the saying "she sings like she's been through 7 divorces". It was the description the composer Yoo Young Seok used to compliment how good Taeyeon is at conveying emotions through her singing.

Taeyeon's voice transcends. Even if you don't know korean, her voice is so emotional, soulful, and moving that it makes you FEEL. King Taeyeon! I get stunned every time i hear her sing and I've been a fan since 2007. Her ability to smoothly go from head voice to chest is flawless--easily my favourite female vocalists of all time.

20:12 is the Hotel del Luna OST titled "A Poem Called You"! one of the most emotional songs I've heard. Made me cry while watching the drama.

The leader of GIrls Generation, a legendary group from 2007 that walked the road so that future generations could run. They were pioneers in so many aspects of what kpop has become today. Her songs are commonly used by trainees to teach the importance of breath control, dictation and stability. Her tone is so warm and addicting to listen to. You can feel the emotions through her voice despite not knowing what she is saying. I recommend checking out her live performance of 'Fine' where she goes acapella if you want to be even more blown away by her voice. You wont get copyright striked by the video as its not affiliated with any of the big company channels.

I appreciate the rawness of your reaction and the fact that you didn't force yourself to talk the whole time. Taeyeon's voice can silence most reactors so no shame haha Don't worry about pausing either. I like it better when people pause to talk rather than keep going and miss great moments or subtle things during videos. Only tiny thing I didn't really like is the background with leaves that you used for a good portion of the video, the flickering neon light really bothered my eyes for some reason, it was like my brain thought something was wrong with them. i've found you from recent comeback marathon video for taeyeon cause i wanted to hear and see emotions from whole album not only short title song which is amazing but can be not showcasing the concept and mood fully than this bunch of songs, step by step and you felt sincere, full n maybe cuute just like taeyeon 🤠 who always felt by me like the only one the highest whom i can trust in terms of voice and music (or she can give me any songs just by her vocals?? i dunno) when i came to this video, i already knew you're the one when you highlighted 11:11 smth about hidden gems and people who pick them is fantastic for me also not me saying that first years after 11:11 was released i had always teared up at her every time it's really that much soulfull yet not complicated by vocals or music i hope that you will explore girls' generation stuff one day too i was late in terms of the tuning to the group so i experienced more solo songs of the rest members and i lowkey wanna you find them too cause i have a weak spot and also big attachment to other girls and their solo stories also perhaps if you continue to search which else kv you can watch i'll suggest stella jang killing voice. (sadly, no subtitles, but i believe it's not a big deal) i can describe her as a folk indie artist with charming voice she's so stylish and her performance on kv hypnotizes me constantly maybe you can check out snippet of it to decide fits you that or not sorry for poor english writing in many words but thank you for attention and your way to checking out songs gonna wait more things from you
