To be fair, paimon looks like a more fun travel companion lol. I don't think the abyss sibling got to joke around and become as close to Dain as the main sibling got to paimon. But Dain looks like a more knowledgeable companion. I imagine that the abyss sibling was more aware of what was going on in teyvat while they were traveling than the main sibling. Everything is a mystery to them.

Im AR 60 and am still a Geo traveler main, when we go to Kanreiha 3 years from now im still going to be a traveler main.

I choose Lumine too. After seeing this, I’m glad it is Lumine who get to travel with Paimon. The first travel in this short really sucks, the poor Lumine didn’t even get help from the archons. Notice her element is always light. While Aether get to change to every element in the area.

Don't care what's Canon in this case, I have no regrets choosing lumine

Besides, the journey if we choose Lumine is probably an alternate reality anyways

I chose Lumine only because I like using females in games but since it's kinda of a self insert I regret my choice, I'm a guy so having Aether would have fit more... Lumine as abyss princess just looks better than Aether imo

I think people overthink the fact that Hoyo chose Aether as Mc on official stuff, tbh. It's just better business to show a male Mc because they have a more universal appeal to both genders (as weird as it sounds, it is what it is.) I chose Lumine and I think both siblings work just fine in any of the roles, and I'm very attached to her as Mc, I think she looks 100x more interesting as a mc and her chemistry with paimon is adorbs
