@@kalvin. she was going to actually, she had planned the music video and everything but when production was boutta start, covid spreads... So at that case, covid's the one who DESERVES jail.
It broke me on the first listening and I had to pause it, I've lost my sister to cancer but it still is my favorite song of hers and I do listen to it often.
@@sharnieshepherd6326 and because it's such a parallel to Red, as well. "I once believe love would be burning red, but it's golden, like daylight". We've somewhat seen her grow up into the woman she is today.
@@jere1388 it’s like when you’re asking the universe for signs everywhere, green would be yes, red would be no, but she’s hitting all the yellows of “I don’t know”.
“There’s a different vocabulary for men and women in the music industry right? A man does something, it’s strategic. A woman does the same thing, it’s calculated. A man is allowed to react. A woman can only overreact.” - MISS TAYLOR ALISON SWIFT
When he said that if he doesn’t finish the song we’ll be angry is just sad. It is okay with us if you dont finish it. I have experienced grief lately and I know how you feel. If you’re not comfortable with it then just do not do it. It is totally cool.❤️
I experienced grief at a young age but it sticks. I rarely ever finish that song. It just hits me hard. 😔 Both my great-grandparents had cancer. I saw them struggle while trying to spend time with family.
@@jocygia07 I know what you are talking about I lost someone close to me when I was only 11. In fact they had lung cancer, so knowing that this song is written to someone with cancer makes it even harder to listen to it...It happend years ago but this song just brings me back there.

@@sairamk the last time i spent my money on her merch, it made my wallet collapse. I have one of her expensive hoodie, and sadly i don't fit into that size.
My aunt (she was like my mom) just passed away a few weeks ago and I listened to this song and I just started crying so hard. This song hits hard for sure
I'm definitely not a democrat but except that one line I can actually relate to this song a lot. Kind of weird, haha. I just think of different things than Taylor when she wrote the song, I guess.

If you haven't noticed, every Track 5's of her album is mostly the most delicate and most raw songs of the album that truly showcases a vulnerable side of her in her albums.
@@raykoasianime.tv21 It is true, but it was just pointed out by one of her fans that almost ALL of her Track 5's were emotional, especially when All Too Well came up. Taylor just brought it to her attention soon after and now uses that style in her songs. It was even seen in the Folklore sessions on Disney+ on how she chose 'my tears ricochet' as Track 5 and making that decision was pretty difficult too.
"I think this song just called me single" honestly, who didn't have that reaction after listening to cornelia street Also, I know losing someone close to you is absolutely the worst feeling in the world, and it's alright that you couldn't finish the song , no one's going to be mad at you for that. Lots of love, and I hope you're taking care of yourself
Pretty smart to ask her fanbase what you should know about the album or individual songs, I think it gives an additional layer especially because you didn't necessarily grow up with her like a lot of us have
Alex vibing to all the songs is literally me!😂I think that lover is one of my favorite albums! I’m sorry for whatever happened!💜💜💜Taylor tuesdays are always SOOOO GOOD!
Alex, I loved watching your vulnerability during Soon You’ll Get Better, loss is so hard and it’s a process. Don’t apologize for skipping the rest of it, it’s the only song of hers that I can’t listen to and that’s okay. I loved your reaction 💗
Great reaction once again! I love how honest you are in your videos and how much self-reflection there is throughout. Your focus on lyricism means that we get such a well rounded opinion on what truly counts. You will often introduce a point of view I haven't considered before which I really appreciate! Your editing, as always, was on point! I know a lot of work goes into your videos and that needs to be acknowledged! I know I speak for everyone who watched this when I say that we felt your grief with you. My heart broke for you. Loss is one of the hardest things we have to go through in life. Thank you for including that footage even though it made you feel incredibly vulnerable.
When the lover album came out at the time I had recently lost my grandma and was going thru depression, anxiety and some health issues which led to many doctor's office. When I listened to soon you'll get better for the first time I sobbed so much cuz I related in so many ways to it. Point being, it was extremely hard to hear but so necessary and it helped me a lot. So Alex, I know how it feels and it's totally understandable that it made u emotional. Sending love from Argentina ❤️
It's 2.30 am here, I was about to go to bed and then saw you uploaded. Believe me, no one is angry with you for not finishing the song. Every time I hear the beginning of it I get choked up and skip, cause it's too much. Sending you lots of love x
I love the way that you actually analyze the lyrics and Taylors point of view in these songs when listening to them for some of the first times amazes me. I love watching your reactions.
ok but i really love how you edit these vids?? like u include the vibing but also the shaking w/ the bass edits??? iconic. this album also made me cry but taylor is just good at that so there's no shame there
Thank you for being this amazing person :) i didn’t even start to watch yet, but I already loved your reaction. I need to edit the comment to say that I loved the editing haha
It's really impressive to see how she is portraying love and relationships throught her career. When she was younger, it was more a fairytale, then highs and lows with deceptions. And now it's like a portrait of real relationship, with the love but the fights and the compromises
your reactions are amazing! I got teary eyed when you cried. I also cried when I listened to Soon You'll get Better. Anyway, can't wait for more reactions! ❤️
i'm already gonna warn you about a song called Marjorie on her album Evermore if you ever listen to it. It talks about death and especially the bridge hits so hard even tho i've never lost anyone
Been waiting for this video lover is my top 3 Taylor album with 1989 and folklore btw wanted to say miss American and yeh heartbreak prince is a storytelling masterpiece wrapped in a high school metaphor love the reactions keep um coming
seeing you cry made me cry too 😢 absolutely loved your reaction to this album, and I really appreciated the dark (k)night joke 😄 this album is so so good
These videos are what pushes me through Monday, knowing Taylor Tuesday’s coming tomorrow!! I love the reaction! Never feel bad for feeling emotions, especially on songs like sygb. Glad you liked the album!!
