I haven't seen anyone mentioning this, but the episode you watched there is actually the second episode in his Satisfactory series, so you did miss a little context. He did do a quick recap at the beginning where he was using the past tense to describe stuff, but as neither of ya commented on that I just assumed it went unnoticed. I do hope y'all go back to watch his first Satisfactory episode, and then watch the rest of the episodes he's made, as he's extremely funny!

To answer the question you guys put up. The point of the game is to build an efficient factory. There is no enemy to fight, and you won't be going into space. That's from the devs themselves. The point of the game is to building a more and more efficient factory. No more and no less. But that could change, but the whole focus on "efficiency" thing is what killed it for myself and some others.

If you do more Lets Game It Out, you have to look at his Planet Coaster videos. Its straight insanity and hilarity.

Fairly enjoy this game myself, my base is fairly large with a couple of trains running across the map... I still need to test out drones... Making massive sectors just.. happens.

I have a love hat relation ship with this game I love it but one time I spent 16 hours straight finding oil figuring out how pipes work and setting up extractors moving oil up a mountain with many problems with the pipes due to my stupidity then transporting the oil down the mountain and refining it

Satisfactory is a specific "taste". Played hundreds of hours on it and let's say, I'm losing my mind because my ocd needs to have everything parallel or straight as much as possible

Compared to factorio, satisfactory is really easy. Not only does it have a very nice and clear tutorial. It is the necessity to unlock successive tiers, one by one, that will force you to learn the game from scratch. There is no situation here that the game throws you into the wilderness and tells you to deliver 500 supercomputers and 200 batteries. When you need such advanced components, you will have several dozen hours of experience behind you.

Let's Game It Out has broken several games and is a pseudo bug tester.
