I'm now wondering whether other lines of the song have appeared as titles to videos of the Green's other friends'/colleague's videos. Where are these missing lines hidden! (or will they also just use this line at some point)

First of all wow, you did that!! But also, I have questions. How long did it take? Did you train in any way to cycle this amount? What did you bring with you and how did bathroom breaks work? Sorry if that’s too much but I’m suddenly very excited and want to go on cycle adventure!
@hannah6034

I am also interested in knowing the answers as well as how you planned your route . Was it easy to follow ? I hate having to constantly check I’m going the right way on a long bike ride. And how was it taking the bike back on the train ? (Presuming that’s what you did) congrats ! I love the idea of doing something like this and doing it alone like you did, seems a really meditative experience . Plus the way you edited it makes it seem like you didn’t see a single person the whole way there ! Bliss

Based on her instagram posts, she definitely built up to this distance. She replied to another commenter, I don't think the breaks mentioned there were bathroom breaks: "Thank you Nina! It took me about 7 hours total including breaks. The heat was intense! Honestly, the motivation of being able to swim for the first time in months kept me going, as well as knowing that on the other side of Ditchling Beacon (the massive hill with a huge gradient that seems to never end) was a 30 min downhill ride directly to the sea on a beautiful hot day. I received encouragement from fellow cyclists, which was lovely. But it was by far the toughest cycle I've done, again, mostly because of the Beacon!"

Have you watched any of Ed Pratt's videos, unicycling around the world? If you're enjoying long-distance cycling you might like them. I find them super inspiring and he's raised (I think) about £500,000 for a british educational charity which is really cool. His youtube is just Ed Pratt.

I'm inspired to try to do more bike rides out in the country here (I'm in the deserty part of Colorado). It is REALLY hot here right now though. Maybe early in the morning though.

Adventure hype! No way I could cycle that far, especially in this heat we have been having. Some Famous Five vibes going on here, they always went off on their bikes right? While I never did much cycling this video brings back so many memories of the times spent hiking as a teenager. There really is nothing like travelling under your own power and getting to see so much of the countryside as you move through it, all the little villages and communities as well. I have one question on something you didn't cover, have you named your trusty steed?
@rosianna
@rosianna 4 года назад
Maybe Famous Five were to blame for this! I certainly felt like an adventurer. I kept thinking about Cheryl Strayed's book Wild and the film adaptation. Particularly when I started fantasising about a Capri Sun the way she constantly thinks about Snapple. I didn't even think I liked Capri Sun. I haven't had one since I was 6. Yes, travelling under your own power!! And I kept thinking about how many little roads there were in all directions, how much more to see. A gateway to many more cycling adventures. I haven't named the bike, no, but I'm considering Tornado, like Zorro's horse.
