Speedrunning Learn To Fly is a good feeling. Not only do we prove all the people who doubted my penguin run, we do it as fast as possible. Also, it's just a fun and nostalgic game to speedrun so that's good too :)

It involves a lot of rng, best strats are: A - finding a speedruner woman (unlikely, though it has the highest potential, so you could use some dream luck) B- finding a frustrated single christian, if you get all the speech checks right you can marry her and get kids surprisingly fast, but you gotta know quite some of the christian lore for that.

Yeah, the sequel really is the peak. Three is nice, but there are other flash games that have a similar premise that I personally enjoy better (like that hedgehog one whose name escapes me)

I imagine it's not all that popular because it can be "solved". The map and temperature changes are the same every time, so you could figure out what the most optimal place to put everything is and when, meaning the game would become an exercise in just sitting at max speed and waiting. Games that can be solved and the only variation comes in menuing don't tend to make for popular speedrunning games.

His face is locked like that because though he is being overwhelmed with the joy of flight, the mockery and laughter of his piers the sacrifices he has had to make, the collective choices have tempered his resolve his will is steel. He was never angry at his piers but saddened that they did not have the vision to see his dream as well. It is not flight that makes him better but what he has done to obtain flight that has made him a better man.

I would love to see Learn to Fly 2! I remember liking it a lot more than Learn to Fly 1 because it had a lot more content and more of a progression to it, I played through it multiple times in middle school. Definitely my favorite of the four or five Learn to Fly games that there are.
