I DESTROYED Another RV | A New Build Begins :
Yo! This is the first episode of my latest RV build series. I bought this travel trailer a few months ago and prepared to rebuild it. Unfortunately I got stuck on a few side projects so it took longer than expected for me to finally start this build. Now that I'm ready to make it, I started off the first day of the build by tearing out all of the old furniture and appliances that were in the trailer when I bought it. I hope you enjoy all of the chaos that happens in this video.

Question…where in the world do you go to come up with nice and affordable RV’s, I sure need one…Also do you recycled any of the wood or materials you demolished? Can’t wait to see the finale, Dualex never seems to disappoint on all his wow factor projects…! ☺️

I found this trailer on Facebook marketplace but I check all sales platforms to find things for as inexpensive as possible. It also greatly depends on where you live. I donate all of the caninet doors and reuse most of the solid pine as scraps for other projects but that laminate particle board that they use in RVs can’t be reused or recycled for anything unfortunately so all of that just gets thrown away. People who don’t do woodworking don’t always understand that the laminate stuff is basically useless. If rv manufacturers used real wood for everything not just framing and cabinet doors, I would be able to reuse or donate everything I take apart

@@Dualex_Builds That makes a lot of sense. That’s why you threw stuff out (in another video) that seemed to be useful but it really wasn’t. Do you think think the manufacturers will ever be using anything that can be reused? I have many doubts about that.

I have watched a lot of people renovate RV"s, but I truly believe you do the nicest, highest quality work of any of them I've ever seen. I don't know who taught you the building trades, or if you taught yourself, but your work is fantastic! If I had an RV I wanted to renovate, you'd be the one I"d want to do it. I hope you have made a career of this, because I think your work is worth a fortune! I so enjoyed the videos.

I would just start completely from scratch. Tear everything out and off and start over again with just the trailer frame. Best way to get a fresh start and design (that doesn't have to look like a camper, could be more like a tiny house).

It's not a kitchen but a 'kitchenette'. Build for compactness. So the camping stove is actually a kitchenette stove. My guess is that the rv is built around an existing standard kitchenette. At least that's what I think, I've rented places with kitchenettes before.

The two new RVs i've bought come with a TP holder but its in an accessories pouch that comes with the trailer allowing you to put it where you want. that might be why.

That’s a possibility. I also bought my previous rv from a used rv dealership and there were no tp holders in any of those used rigs either so maybe it’s just super rare for some reason

So youbuilt the truck camper, redid the mid size RV, and now a Mini RV? Alright im on board lets see it happen. My question is when are you gonna build that tree house you always wanted as a kid? lol Looking forward to this build. I also feel you and your friends pain of being big guys with these ridiculously small RV bathrooms and showers, Im 6'4" and over 300lbs and man are these things cramped.

Even if you didn't use the connector, you can cut a small bit of wire off. They're color coordinated and universal with all stereos. I have an old pop-up DVD player I've thought about using in an RV or van, but you can always use those cheap kiddie units for the back of a headrest.

That whole dismantle was overkill, a heavy sledgehammer for some weak plywood, a heavy hammer would have sufficed.

Lot RV don't mount the TP holder cause customers will always want in another location. They let customers mount them were they want to. Plus some just don't have good locations to even mount them. It's amazing how cheap and thin the materials used by RV manufacturers. But have to keep weights low.

That’s a good explanation on the tp holders and yeah it’s definitely a combination of trying to keep the weight down and trying to keep cost low to make a profit as well as making it easy to mass produce models of these

The fridge 12v option cant chill your food its only for when you drive so the fridge holds the cold from propan or 110 or 230v . The caravans and rvs in sweden is like that but your fridge maybe work to chill the food on 12v.
