A big thank you to you both for sharing your experiences with Kourie and Eric. Nick, you brought the warmth to all of this sadness by telling us about Eric and what he was like. I haven’t heard anything about Eric personally which is sad since he’s the one who is no longer with us. He had so much going for him and was very caring about others from just counseling you about your divorce situation alone. Deena (sp) you may have been duped by her but you are such a kind soul and I can see how you make people comfortable and at ease.🌹 Such an awful situation this is for so many. I’m keeping those little boys in my prayers.

She went on the show to sell more books to profit off his death especially since she didn’t get all the money she expected from his estate. She’s got so soul.

My heart breaks for the kids. They lost their dad and now their mom is being arrested in his death. Poor kids. Where do they go from here? They must be so unbelievably confused.

First thing I thought when she appeared on the show (after knowing she was being accused of murder): I think she knew she would be needing to hire attorneys and wanted to promote her book for sales. It's as simple as that; Money. The same reason she allegedly poisoned her husband. Just my own thoughts.

I used to groom their dog and cat in Heber. It is a struggle to wrap my brain around this whole situation. If she did it, those poor kids have lost both their parents.

She came on the show because she needed to promote her book. From what I gather was in debt big time. She learned the day after the her husband's death that she was excluded from the Will. The repeated messiness of her car indicates something is wrong mentally. Eric sounds like just a good honest hard working loyal dad and friend. To think he thought she was doing something is enough to secretly gather evidence and start divorce proceedings. Hind sight is 2020 of course it's easy for me to say. It's just so damn sad to loose a good man over senseless greed. I read she started taking life insurance policies out on him as early as 2014 on. She never loved him. My condolences to his family.

Deena expressed more emotion in her little finger in that interview. Kouri had to be guided into what her own book was intending to express. Psychopaths fake it till they make it. Kouri almost made it.

Thank you for talking about Eric himself and not just as a prop in this case. He wasn’t just Kouri’s husband and victim but we don’t hear much about who he was.

she's a sociopath. don't worry about how she's "feeling" - i seriously doubt she's ever lost a second of sleep for having murdered her husband and deceived her children then went out in public playing the perfect grieving mother. after the hearing the other day it's clear that his family knew better from the start.

I think she just wanted to monetize Eric's death. If she couldn't get it one way, she's going to do it another. I suspect she thought she'd totally gotten away with it and was completely shocked when she got arrested.

You really can’t tell a lot about me if you detailed my car lol because my house is very clean and I’m a little OCD yet my car is a mess and I will have bags and receipts, trash, etc everywhere. It’s embarrassing 😳 😂. Ppl live different lives away from home and away from significant others, so to me this chick’s life was a hot mess and it was probably hard for authorities to believe she was involved with her husband’s death. She put on this act. Grieving wife and mother wrote a book in a hurry because she was written out of the Will. The wheels were turning in her head and to make herself look good especially in the publics eye she needed to get on TV and promote awareness. She felt being a mom of three kids LE would never charge her for murder let alone arrest her. Yeah she was being looked at. Purely coincidental for the show to air prior. It’s funny how the public wrote in floored that she was on the news. Surprised and shocked. Sad about the kids. Losing both parents. Glad both you and your guest were concerned for these boys at what they may hear or not hear. 😥

Eric looks like such a nice guy, be careful when marrying a sociopath narcissistic who has endless greed and self promotion, and no feelings, cold blooded! But these narcissistic love bomb you at first, the mask comes off. The kids suffer. How did she think she would get away with it? She probably hired someone to help write the book.😢😢

It was hard for Eric to believe that his wife is trying to kill him, take all his hard earned money, he just wanted a happy family, good he changed the insurance policy. These narcissistic are very good at manipulating and charming, and know what to say!,and good at deceiving! So do not blame yourself, and keep trusting those gut emotions,

I need to make a correction to your story. Kouri's Mom worked at WalMart. Eric's Mom would be turning in her grave if people thought she was stocking shelves

Both Kouri’s interview on the lifestyle show and this discussion will give the general public - and criminal profilers - more information to understand both Kouri and Eric. So thank you both. For example, the details about the very extreme filthy state of her vehicles does say something about her personality. Likewise, her emotional aloofness. I was surprised to learn the degree to which Eric ‘pampered’ himself with every kind of vehicle and toy. I had thought him humbler and quieter. I saw her as a narcissist and/or a gold digger who put on a good mask and who fooled Eric, the ‘good-guy, play by the rules’, vulnerable type, who was already hurt once by his first divorce.

What I don’t understand is, why not enjoy and be grateful for the family you created with this guy? She already had the riches with him, having been poor I can’t imagine being anything but humble & grateful for this man coming into my life. She HAD that lifestyle & beautiful home with him, WHY not be happy with what they HAD? Greed to throw it all away & for what??!! & to top it off he was cute, too! Evil woman. Imagine those wheels turning as she flirted with him from the Home Depot register. She saw $$$ signs the moment he stepped into her aisle.

The fight with the sister and Kouri happened at the residence because it started when sister saw the safe crackers going into the place where the safe was. Not at the new house.

Eric was such a decent guy. My God, he married murdering trash . This is a very nice tribute to him. Btw- detail guy, I was a nanny for years. Cars that are That Gross are the result of a crazy mind, not children. Kids do make messes, that sane people keep reasonably tidy . That's her mind. Did u see her in court, chewing her mouth non stop? That's an effort to be In Control, though she is not. The mouth registers emotion .

Lori and Kouri... both found out after their husband's death that they were taken off of their husband's large life insurance. Both had a party right after their husband's death. Both have ties to Utah. Both have 3 kids. 🤔

Our oldest son lives in Heber City. This story seems close to home. Even though we live in Texas.

The house where the Fent was allegedly left in a fire pit was at some other house that they owned and rented out. The huge unfinished mansion she closed on in the the days following his death. Then apparently had a party there

Yes The mansion was where the dealer made the drop off and picked up the $ for the fentanyl. The house apparently has sold

Poor guy. He was trapped. Can you imagine the manipulation, coercion and level of emotional abuse that was happening in that home to where he couldn't leave knowing what she had done and was doing? He also knew from his previous divorce that he couldn't go to family court. He would've lost any meaningful relationship with his kids and been turned into a 2 weekend per month visitor to them. He'd have to pay for his attorneys and hers. He would've lost the home and had to find another place to live while still being financially responsible for both households. He would've had to pay alimony, too. He would've been the one supporting "the standard of living when the family was together" while having to pay child support as well. Can you imagine what she'd do with the child support money. She couldn't manage money, was in debt, and those kids wouldn't have benefited at all. It's not like there's a system in place to make sure child support is spent on the children's needs. If she's the type to deprive the kids of their father, she wouldn't care what they don't have. Once those family court attorneys, including his, saw the family finances and how his business was successful they would've made sure to incite a lot conflict so he'd have to keep going to court for every little thing. They'd make sure to extract as much wealth from him and his kid's future as they possibly could. Once she had full physical custody of the kids she would've used them as pawns to get whatever she wanted and not give a thought to how much it traumatized them. Normally, one would be able to go to a court system for help with this situation but not family court. He did the only thing he could do which was change the trust and take his chances because the only other option was a slow destruction of himself and his children through the family court system.

She needs to pay for this! She really thinks she is going to get away with her crimes, MURDER! She is as Evil as they come! God be with them all❤

What a horrific situation...there is another murder case...Lori Vallow who killed her children and had her husband murdered by her brother... So sad. What happened to divorce..she knew and also Lori wanted the $$ ... Maybe insurance companies need to remove the top dollar on policies that no one has a in depth knowledge of how much people are worth dead...

I’ve worked in EMS since 2004 I’ve seen a lot of things, I had to do CPR on my own brother and I saved his life thank God. Someone sending a email asking if these two women needed counseling is honestly upsurd. Cops, EMS and firefighters are the best people who need therapy after being to a horrible scene and seeing things that are not normal. They are two news reports all they did was spend 10 minutes with here. Honestly give me a break.
