Usually I never comment, but this video was just awesome! When I signed up for my first race, I didn't know how to swim and had no bike. 9 months of preparation changed everything. The moment you sign up, the switch is getting flipped and you have no other choice than to put in the work. You will suffer, doubt yourself along the way, regret that you signed up for the race in the first place but it's worth it in the end. And yes, it is considered "running", even if you walk, in fact you will see a lot of people walking. I guess the nutrition along the race is one of the most essential elements. Keep pushing!
The thumbnail, camera quality, editing, storytelling, the challenge in itself, bro you have evolved so much man, really exited to see where this will go in the future, keep up the amazing work brotha🔥💪
Hey Leon, just saw your channel randomly popping up. First of all. Great job! But for someone who is doing triathlon and Ironmans I would say, you cant call yourself an Ironman. There are cut off times in the races and you would not have managed the split for the bike. So in a race situation it would be a DNF. Swim is normally 2:20, Bike 10h:30min (including the swim) and 16 to 17 hours for all 3 disciplines. Nevertheless, sign up for one. It is a lot of fun! And good Job!
just so people understand, the WR for an Ironman is around 6h45min. I'm training for the half-distance and there's so much involved I can't even understand how you did it Leon!
@@lovelife7025 you think so bro? The CTR is 8.2. I have a version of this thumbnail where I look exhausted but I’m not sure if switching is needed rn. What do you think bro?
This is not cool at the end… You’re not an actual Ironman and I think for you to call yourself one is disrespectful for the people that actually trained and did it in the time they should. Thumbs up for your effort though! It was brutal, for sure! Looking forward in your participation in one! Good luck with your channel!
@@StefanGav I completely understand your point, and I’m sorry if calling myself an Ironman came across as disrespectful to those who have trained and completed it. That was never my intention. My goal was to show that even if we aren't fully prepared, we can still push ourselves beyond what we think is possible, and hopefully inspire others to take that first step. Thank you for your feedback and support, I really appreciate it. I’ll keep striving to improve and hopefully participate in an official one in the future! 👊
Sorry man but thumbs down for not wearing a helmet. Nice try though. Are you going to do one within the time limits too? I feel this came close but as someone who did an untrained one in 13+ hours I feel you can do better. No training but much better and efficient preparations.
You're right bro. It just never crossed my mind to wear one and that's an L for me. Doing an official one is a cool idea but won't be for the near future tho. Well done on your untrained 13-hour one btw, the fact you did that without any experience or training in official times in CRAZY!
@@Leon_Pashov oh I did have experience! That's the only difference! I know how to swim and suffer. I just didn't train for almost a year because of mental health issues and the passing of people too young and close to me. I just couldn't get myself to do the workouts. I gained 20kgs and struggled with addictions. I am still recovering. I just couldn't let go of the opportunity to participate in the events I had signed up for!
