well it's "folklore", "rep/reputation" and "evermore" like no capitalization Edit: Well it's true, (sorry for being OBNOXIOUS) (Also Sorry if I spelled obnoxious wrong)
Well the beginning of no body no crime sounds like “should’ve said no” so I imagine she actually used a riff from it and other songs to make a lot of songs on evermore which is potentially why they all sound so amazing and familiar
the way the lyrics make so much sense. they say she did something bad. one side of her says she’s innocent until proven guilty. another side is saying she enjoyed it.
[Verse 1: Taylor Swift] Este's a friend of mine We meet up every Tuesday night for dinner and a glass of wine Este's been losin' sleep Her husband's actin' different, and it smells like infidelity She says, "That ain't my Merlot on his mouth That ain't my jewelry on our joint account" No, there ain't no doubt I think I'm gonna call him out [Chorus: Taylor Swift & HAIM] She says, "I think he did it, but I just can't prove it" I think he did it, but I just can't prove it I think he did it, but I just can't prove it No, no body, no crime But I ain't lettin' up until the day I die [Post-Chorus: HAIM] No, no I think he did it No, no He did it [Verse 2: Taylor Swift] Este wasn't there Tuesday night at Olive Gardеn At her job or anywhere Hе reports his missing wife And I noticed when I passed his house His truck has got some brand new tires And his mistress moved in Sleeps in Este's bed and everything No, there ain't no doubt Somebody's gotta catch him out, 'cause [Chorus: Taylor Swift & HAIM] I think he did it, but I just can't prove it (He did it) I think he did it, but I just can't prove it (He did it) I think he did it, but I just can't prove it No, no body, no crime But I ain't lettin' up until the day I die [Post-Chorus: HAIM & Taylor Swift] No, no I think he did it No, no He did it [Verse 3: Taylor Swift & Danielle Haim] Good thing my daddy made me get a boating license when I was fifteen And I've cleaned enough houses to know how to cover up a scene Good thing Este's sister's gonna swear she was with me (She was with me, dude) Good thing his mistress took out a big life insurance policy [Chorus: Taylor Swift] They think she did it, but they just can't prove it They think she did it, but they just can't prove it She thinks I did it, but she just can't prove it [Outro: Taylor Swift & HAIM] No, no body, no crime I wasn't lettin' up until the day he No, no body, no crime I wasn't lettin' up until the day he No, no body, no crime I wasn't lettin' up until the day he died
01/01/21 UPDATE: Eyyyyyyy!!! 100,000 views, er, listens??? HAHAHAHA thanks guys uwu. And happy new year! Okay, I saw Twitter popping off with this mashup! Tag me @rancewell_ on your tweets! Thank you!
The way my mouth dropped open when I heard this bc it’s absolutely genius. Like I hear the gunshots in the background of I Did Something Bad while she says “I ain’t letting up until the day I die” and I was like “oh my god no body no crime was literally made for reputation”. I am absolutely IN LOVE with this remix bc these two songs were just made for each other 😭🫶🏼🫶🏼
Lyrics I tried my best He did it He did it Este's a friend of mine We meet up every Tuesday night for dinner and a glass of wine Este's been losin' sleep Her husband's actin' different, and it smells like infidelity She says, "That ain't my Merlot on his mouth (Skin) That ain't my jewelry on our joint account" (Lips) No, there ain't no doubt (owe him nothing) I think I'm gonna call him out (call him out) x 6 (out) x 5 They say I did something bad (She says, "I think he did it, but I just can't prove it") Then why's it feel so good? Reputation is the old rebellious sister Folklore is the middle calm wise sister Evermore is the youngest know it all devilish fun sister Why?! I have no idea 😂
And Speak Now is the sister that looks sweet and innocent but has a bad girl streak lol. If we were to do the other albums… Red is the sad sister, Debut and Fearless is the young and innocent sister, and 1989 and Lover are the party sisters, though 1989 is partying because she is single and wants to forget about the break up, while Lover is partying because she’s in love.
@@captainayaaya28 Debut and Fearless also look innocent and sweet but also has a bad girl streak as well lmaoo with songs like Should've Said No, Picture To Burn, and Forever and Always lmaooo.
I did something bad was because of picture to burn because he should’ve said no so there was no body and no crime except it was better then revenge so he should have spoke now because there’s tear drops on my guitar and no love story.

Each of these is one of my favourites from their respective albums and they work so well together, IDSB is so underrated. Hip hop no body no crime forever
This is fire! What a great remix! No Body No Crime fits Rep well and I love both Taylor and Haim. I have always thought Don’t Blame Me sounds like Chicago’s Cell Block Tango and No Body No Crime is either Goodbye Earl or Two Black Cadillacs.
Me too. I just wish this was on Apple Music so I can put this song on repeat. I LOVE!!! it so much. It goes so well together. If you really listen to the lyrics it seems like she’s trying to hide a crime and is trying to tell everyone that she didn’t do it.
