Sometimes at jobs I'll play along. One time at a cooking job a lady seriously didn't think I knew the difference between Swiss cheese and Cheddar. I let her go on thinking that. If she thought I was that dumb, I had no need to try and change her mind haha
Except when anyone decides to ride something they don't ride at the skatepark 😂😂😂 suddenly all that kindness and tolerance goes out the window when it comes to people making different choices than them
@@itsethansalsbury not typically no they don't lmao sure skateboarders might talk sht on a roller blader but they're not actively confronting people because they're using roller blades 😂 if you see a skater confronting someone either 1.) they're the random ahole which is typical in every group. Or 2.) the rollerblader deserves it because they're not being mindful of the other people at the park.
My buddy was diagnosed with tourettes syndrome and has a more pronounced face scrunch when he has tic-blinks. He didn't have verbal tourettes, but when he was in the flow state he would be blinking extra hard and frequently 😂 To be honest I think it gave him superpowers. It might be the same with Dan here! You could give my buddy any word to start with, and he could rap over any beat, and just go. Not like 4-10 minutes, he could go for an hour if he had access to water. His brain just worked differently. It was the same way with graffiti and skating. It was like he knew something a normal human wouldn't.
@@itsnicetoseeyou lol you sound bitter ? Everything okay my guy ? I don't know who his girlfriend is ...long as she legal I could careless lol my wife 8 years younger than me 🤷
I remember back in the day I wanna say 2015 there was a school with a bent parking pole we would skate as a pole jam right next to it was one that wasn’t bent it was straight up and down I did pretty much a pole jam but like a wallie and popped off the side this vid reminds me of those times just having fun and skating miss those days so much miss the homies as well
He was checking dudes intentions with recording it but also was super stellar on teaching him either way they both definitely did the skate community justice with this interaction
Known dan a long time. He’s like this all the time genuinely one of the funniest skaters while being encouraging and supportive. Used to help me with tricks all the time at cherry legend fr.
He’s the reason many going to that park have made great progress I met a few at our local park what’s sad is other than those few outgoing dudes that essentially brought positivity and high energy and motivation to make it a stellar place if it was a day none made it and some were strangers it became quiet and almost tense as all take turns skating without some input and hype and excitement these souls could Instill, it would be much less fun to be there and worst was when a small group had that vibe and seemed cool but just couldn’t spread it and converse with others there to give them a feeling of importance or value and times as a younger skater there I’d be super intimidated and shy to get in anyones way anyway essential god bless this guy for his small yet ripple effect of positive vibes sharing of the spotlight to bring each one a valuable time spent there being encouraged and given a chance to shine that itself can land the truck you’ve struggled with for a long time it’s a beautiful thing 🌻
You can tell hes a good dude just by the way he responds and his eagerness. "I WANTED to try it" "You wanted to try it? You CAN do it, ill show you how to do it." Bro just gave him confidence and offered a hand while he answered.
The way he blinks hard after saying “I refuse to refute it I think it’s really funny” just tells me he's an awesome dude. Can't explain why but that just made me feel like holy shit this guy's cool
Dude, I won't lie, first time that clip played I thought it looked edited. But seeing the attempts really legitimized the footage, and after seeing homie land it, I totally believe it. That was fresh af, man, I absolutely love tricks like this that scratch that "oldschool" itch I get. Rodney Mullen will always be the goat, and this trick reminds me of something he'd definitely do. (I wouldn't be surprised if he invented the hippy jump...)
Got it! People that think some of these skate tricks are fake have just never been around a trick being done. I remember the first time I saw someone do a three shove in real life. The board moved so fast I was kind of wondering what I just saw. That's what got me hooked on skateboarding. I haven't skated in 10 years but I used to be able to throw some gnarly tricks.
