I grew up in a pretty frugal home where we weren’t poor but we definitely did not have money to be spending on extra stuff like fancy coffee. I don’t think I had ever had Starbucks until I was 17😅
i only had starbucks once lol i was probably 11 and it was already in the target (for the first time.. the only one an hour away from my house) i was at .. it wasn’t even real coffee because i can’t stand the smell of coffee even i bet the taste is horrible
As a Starbucks barista I like a vanilla bean frap with matcha, peppermint, and java chips :0 it’s too expensive now but if you ever have a freebie I highly recommend
Yes! You made me feel so seen! I didn’t know what it was until I was a junior myself and that was 2016. 💀 I didn’t have my first one either until I was dang 21. 😂😂😂
for anyone with social anxiety here’s how to order it ❤ “Hello! Can I get a venti vanilla bean frappuccino with 3 scoops of matcha and 3 pumps of peppermint! No whip cream please! thank you”
Yes! She made me feel so seen! I didn’t know what it was until I was a junior myself and that was 2016. 💀 I didn’t have my first one either until I was dang 21. 😂😂😂
I live in a super small town in Washington and there are like at least four or five small business coffee drive throughs (like those small stands) and I’m telling you, once you skip Starbucks and go to a small coffee stand like that, you’ll never go back to Starbucks lol.
I’m from Washington state… they are in every street corner in every town . You can be at a rest stop in the forest and hear a “ hiiiinwelcome to Starbucks !” I don’t like coffee from there but their pink drink… it’s a must for me
I didn’t know what Starbucks really was either. I grew up in a very small town. The only Starbucks close by was 45 minutes away. I prefer the local coffee shops now.
for anyone who wants a review: i tried it and honestly it was kind of nasty. i’m usually a big peppermint/mint girly but this was extremely overbearing. the first taste you get matcha then the after taste is PURE peppermint. would not recommend if your looking for a refreshing drink - the flavor was so strong it made it unenjoyable. perhaps if you lessened the measurement of scoops and pumps it mightve been enjoyable but it was not my cup of tea. rating: 2/10
You can also do a matcha frap made with vanilla sweet cream too but I like it with out the peppermint and it’s the only thing I get from Starbucks now the lord blessed me with a financial stability
i HAVE TO TRY THIS BECAUSE IM OBSESSED WITH THEIR PEPPERMINT AND VANILLA. my order is always vanilla and peppermint cold brew! and it's INCREDIBLE SOOOOOO YES IM GONNA ORDER THIS
The only drink I knew and was allowed to have was a grande passion ice tea and it was rarely so when I got older probably high school it was kinda embarrassing going to Starbucks and not knowing anything on their menu besides the passion ice tea.
@@adrielisaacs9228 but is it, people are dying for no reason, if you were the one whose friends and family were getting killed you would want people to know
This reminds me of when I went to a Starbucks for the first time and texted my friend asking what to get. They said a grande iced matcha tea with vanilla cold foam. I still don’t know how to order anything else.
Honestly same I barely found out abt it like a year ago, I usually get a drink once in a while (Expensive) if that’s the word Sadly in my state the only coffee shops that there is are Starbucks.. like being fr with you no joke you search up coffee shops they are like 3 hrs away 😀 So like when I go to school and don’t have time I pass for a coffee 🥲 or drink
@@meoweowefrom the official Starbucks website: We abhor hate and strongly reject violence against the innocent. Despite false statements spread through social media, Starbucks has never contributed to any government or military operation in any way. The reason the boycott was started was due to a lawsuit aimed at their union for using their logo in a political post and not removing the post. The post was causing controversy and Starbucks didn’t want to be blamed for smth they didn’t say. Whenever Starbucks has been involved in politics in the past it hasn’t gone well, so they didn’t want their brand attached to any political statements (which they have every right not to want). A lot of this boycott is just performative activism by ppl who haven’t done research besides from on social media as Starbucks is “easy” to boycott since it is not a necessity and is costly, so ppl can boycott smth that doesn’t rly affect them. If u wanna have an actual impact on boycotts and companies that do matter, check out the BDS boycott list (which Starbucks is not on) and boycott those companies instead. An organized effort against companies that do actually have an impact on the war will do much more that any Starbucks boycott ever will for freeing Palestine.
Nah fr the closest Starbucks was in the next town over, and I didn’t try it until I went on a school trip in high school (it was 2014 and starubucks was very popular apparently)
I tried Starbucks when I was 13 my grandma at every coffee shop always got me a Vanilla Cappuccino so I know what it tastes like. I went to Starbucks when we were on a school trip and bought a Vanilla Cappuccino and when I drank it it was straight black coffee. No vanilla no cappuccino just black coffee
Give me one piece of credible evidence that Starbucks supports Israel. I support Palestine too but boycotting a company that didn't actually do anything that goes against your cause is idiotic and does nothing. Such misplaced energy.
i grew up knowing starbucks spends more over seas than on its own people .. given my family came here from what is left of their land. i never saw the hype anyways 😂 dont understand why you guys continue to buy something that only benefits a negative outcome. ❤️🇵🇸 free my people.
Oohh nooo coffee that doesn't exist in Israel is being boycotted by brainwashed terrorist supporters. What are Israelis gonna doo?! AM ISRAEL CHAI!!🇮🇱🇮🇱🇮🇱 A crash course on the history of the "PALESTINIAN" STATE: 1. Before Israel, there was a British mandate, not a Palestinian state. 2. Before the British Mandate, there was the Ottoman Empire, not a Palestinian state. 3. Before the Ottoman Empire, there was the Islamic state of the Mamluks of Egypt, not a Palestinian state. 4. Actually, in this piece of land there has been everything, EXCEPT A PALESTINIAN STATE.
My problem with startbucks. Everyone in there talks and acts like this... the only time i ever had anything from their store is when some jerk ordered from a different state with the wrong address and i had to keep it. Dude was in new york and used a philly address. Says everything i need to know about starbucks clientele 🤦🏿♂️🤣
