Their original place they used to have decent fish and chips and donner has always been good however, the donner got a big hype and they used to be really busy so for some reason they started giving less portion 🤔 Overhyped by people who don't know quality food. Thank you for coming down Ali and checking out the Bradford takeaways and restaurants. Keep up the good work 👍🏼

To be honest that chicken donner looked extremely dry and the food just didn’t look right. I had high hopes for this place but it’s not as good as people make it out to be. I appreciate the honest review :) just subscribed!

Mr "School Dinners" Ali back at it again with another legit food review. Ahh the long awaited Spuddys review. Not surprised at all by the outcome of this review. Soo many have hyped this place up. But its gone past the best days. Used to be good back in the days, but now it's just a meh joint. Happy that you came and showed genuinely what you ate and how you felt about it. Good thing you didn't review the salad, famous for being like cardboard. But as per usual, Ali doing Ali, perfectly done by showing the receipt on screen giving that extra flavour for the food review. Not all reviews have their good days. Fair to say this one was perfectly put. The establishment genuinely have gone downhill. I guess the loyal ones are still clinging on to it as they have built a name in Bradford. But true foodies genuinely know, its past its sell by date. Thanks Ali for popping down and reviewing an establishment which I'm sure has been heavily mentioned to you.

Ali. You have to do Kebab corner which is in the oastler shopping centre. Cheeseburger. Shami kebab and they are known for their donner and chips with the sauces!

Have you ever thought of doing a vid on best food places you can order from in Manchester? Sometimes the food can taste different when ordered because its not as fresh as it could've been than if you had it directly from the shop.

It doesn't usually be like that to be honest, maybe that's because I always go to the oaks lane branch which is always really busy. The naan is always fresh and as for the chicken it's never dry so maybe its just this Leeds Road one

Hi Ali , thanks for this review. This looks a level below the standard of kebabs in Oldham or Manchester. Oldham Star / Simply Fresh and Lebonese Swarhma are my go to places at the minute for quality kebabs🙂

No excuse. Being a few minutes down the road is never an excuse for bad food, if anything it says they can make it well but in one branch they choose to rip everyone off. This is never a good excuse (unless you’re comparing a McDonald’s branch in Tokyo to turkey for example where regional differences and suppliers etc come in to play)

Why would u go spuddies? The Real Doner Co. is the place to go if you want a proper portion with plenty of sauces (it’s the same Doner… except you get a much better portion & service with a clean space to eat upstairs).

As'salamualaikum Ali bruv, my mate was raving and waffling about spuddies... Any way long story short I went to abasyeen for. Chaapli kebab... Then I popped in to get donner... I was so, excited to... When I got home I opened it... All I could smell was lamb donner not the nice smell but the urgh smell.... Dosti I was put off my chaapli kebab... Like my father used to say eat less but eat good... Only good thing was the chips... Donner was 4/10 chips were nice give it a good 8/10... Over experience Ilwr... Lol 😂 to him we belong to him we return... Next day slated my friend out in group chat... Needless to say he had meltdown.... I, said to him hum gaaribo maat haaso lol 😂... Below average food t b h.

For me real donner co is better than this. Also another one to try is kebab corner in oastler shopping centre/market, the chutney and chilli sauce go well with the donner meat and chips

Do I think tasting food and talking about it is haram? No. We all talk about food, I just have a camera. I would say focus on your zakat, namaz, fasting and your obligations. After that there are many things you can do which are halal. Islam is beautiful in its simplicity, we do not need to complicate it. I watch the amount I eat over a week and love showing my brothers and sisters there are plenty of halal food options available to them. To summarise, tasting and talking about food food is not haram. Enjoy food, it’s one of the greatest pleasures we are blessed with. *use common sense and don’t overeat, do your zakat etc

Both are the same company with the same prices and the same menu. I never accept this incredibly poor excuse unless I’m comparing a McDonald’s in Dubai to one in Turkey for example where menu/suppliers/prices are differ
