Perfect idea for keeping the group together that way the folks are on time and don't get lost. We used to get some when we had the trolleys but that's long gone. I'm glad that you and the family were able to be in attendance because that was one thing that usually fell by the wayside was your social life. I do a lot of wedding charters here in Australia, since I live in an area with quite a few vineyards (in the north east of the state of Victoria), which make for nice picturesque wedding venues. The one thing about weddings I dislike, is doing a wedding for a young couple, as they tend to mostly have young friends who end up drinking way too much, leaving me with a big clean up inside the bus. If you know what I mean, I need say no more about that! But my company gives us drivers the authority to deny boarding to anyone who is too intoxicated, which we rarely have to enforce, thankfully. Also, I'm like you - I plan to arrive a minimum 15 minutes before my scheduled pick up time.

I've always wanted to drive a Novabus. I love how far back the front wheels are on those things. I did not realize that the startup sounds are the same. That's cool! Thanks for teaching me that fact!
You know... I dont have any thing I want to change. Ive been the operations manager for this company for a long time. I will say that moving forward I do want to have one make and model of bus. It wont be as much fun but it will be a lot cheaper. I don't know which make and model I want to commit to yet.

It was a 2016. It was the only bus we had left for that day. We sent all of our newer equipment for the longer length trips. We were booked up that day

My, probably unpopular, opinion: if you are dressing up this sloppily, don't wear a tie. A sloppily-worn tie looks worse than no tie at all. And you do wear it sloppily. Get some sharp polo shirts made for your (!!) company and have drivers wear them. The last time I personally wore a tie was at my mom's funeral, and the time before that was at my mom-in-law's. And lose the hat.
