Thanks for the trip to the junkyard. I haven't been in a long time. Also might want to consider east coast mk3 meet on September 23rd in Jersey... Maybe just hang out in Pa for an extra week or so. Bugout is back, in VA on September 3.
Mk4 cup holder center console from late models are one of the best mods to early with the janky pop out cup holder. All 3 of my Mk4s have it now. I’ll never look back
Beige car is a Toyota Corolla circa 2000. Wheel PCD on Toyota at that time was 4x100 so looks like it's had Mk3 Golf alloys swapped onto it at some point
It would be dope to see you get a little hardbody, minitrucker and Volkswagen just work like BP and J. That datsun was dope, disk breaks on the front and everything, someone put some work in that little 520.
Yes I still remember the old neesan pickup, also that Toyota (Corolla I think?) with that Mk3 Golf wheel was a weird one, looks like the car McJuggerNuggets used to have, same colour I think before that got turned into a pink car
man that show in pottstown is like 20 mins from my house im trying to go doing a water pump now on the gli 24v in uni black look forword to seeing you there man
Smith Any good suggestions for a food exhaust that isn't loud .. or drony .. I need one but can't settle ... the car is daily and most drives are Highway (2.Slow Rieger Bora)
So when Miley was still a 2.0. I had the same exhaust setup as I do now with the vr6. 2 1/2in piping, magnaflow sports cat, and magnaflow muffler. Had a nice sound to it. Had a deeper tone and was drony.
@@Mk3Smith I probably will give it a go soon , Thinking maybe smaller resonator/mid thingy and OEM vRS rear Muffler ( just to tone it up a bit & Keep it semi Oem , The tip is just perfect on the rear lip)
Hi chairs sorry to bother u, I'm going to Germany first week Sep and was wondering if u can point me in the right direction to get parts, I'll be in the dusseldorf area
That hat kille me :D I wonder where all the MK4s are gone. We have the same problem here. mostly wrecked or still on the road. there is no in between :(
Would have tried to get that bonnet at the right price, as long as no rust, it's in black, if the paint doesn't buff out, shouldn't be expensive to repaint as it's already in colour, chances of finding a perfect body panel in a scrapyard is rather slim, I would have definitely walked away with that and negotiated a fair price. Terrible bodge with all that expanding foam I'm sure that would fail a British MOT, it's a fire hazard, God knows what posessed the owner to do that, nice of the yard worker to give you water
I was just out there pulling stuff off of an Infiniti last week lol. Its been super super hot out. I hope you're able to find a decent Uni Black hood soon.
