Still cuts it today. Think this would make the charts even today. Gerry and John look like they would have done this for free they were enjoying this that much. Met them all and they were all superb guys and had time for their fans. RIP to Gerry, Harvey and now John, they made us all happy at some point in our lives and they should take that with them in the future or high in the sky the fallen comrads.
They were fantastic i loved the glitter band music at its best thanks to the glitter band for the fantastic songs happy memories of that era the 70s were the best ever
Just seen this brings back so many memories great times Always wanted that Gerry Shepherd guitar but I know it’s in the safest of hands with Hellos Bob Bradbury ❤️
The Glitter Band too have been victims of Gary's misdeeds. Today's politically correct & spineless radio execs shit themselves at the mention of the word Glitter regardless of context
Its too bad that ANYONE associated with Paul Gadd gets tarred with the same brush. I just seperate the man from the music. The Glitter band are not responsible for what GG did, no way.
I don't remember them performing this at the Marquee gig. I was there. It's certainly not on the album. To my recollection Gerry introduced the song into the live set after Springy left the band. Gerry and I had discussed recording the song as a test for a new cd. It took a while to convince him, even before GG became disgraced. He loved the song but wasn't sure about recording a GG song. Anyway, enough about that, it's a great song and they always performed it so well.
OMG this is fantastic! John's hard arse bass sounds great, Gerry's voice is great and Pete too! Please, Please can I get a copy of the rest of your files for this gig??
GlitterBandits Thanks for Uploading These. The Glitterband Were & Will Always Be The Best By Far. Would Love to Get Hold of the Full Gig of this if You Can help
@Glitterbandits Many thanks for the upload. Do you have any more from this gig. Gerry always loved going up to Glasgow and having a good curry up there too with his mate Martin
