I'm curious if you are aware of the impact you have on the building community. When others are building it looks like stacking blocks, your creations look like you are painting on a canvas. Everything you do is always on a new level. The way you use gradients to simulate lighting is one of the biggest revolutions in building in a long time. Can't wait to see where this series takes us.

About the allays, they'll strain against their leads a lot less if they're not holding items. When they're holding items they're constantly trying to pathfind towards you whenever they're loaded. If they're not holding items, they'll be a lot more relaxed and less likely to break their leads.

Bdubs you should make the side of the glass shop into a glass blowers shop. You can add function by making it a place to get glass by inputting sand. You Manipulating glass like this reminds me of a video I saw the other day where someone (bismuthief) was using stained glass to slightly change the colour of a texture, and also making builds entirely out of glass layering to reduce translucency. Really cool to see building community come up with new ways to do stuff. The Pseudo-debug stick is also really cool, and I think it does have it's own advantages over just debug stick due to the antialiasing effect Bdubs talked about so there are cases where you'd want to use it even if you got a mod that lets you use a debug stick in survival. (there is a modrinth mod that does that)

I know that moss, copper, and all the new wood types are more obviously exciting, but glow lichen might be the most game-changing new building block introduced in recent years. You can use it to blend stone textures, slap it on terracotta for floral wallpaper, emulate window leading - and that's without even getting into the ambient lighting you can achieve with it.

one of my favorite things i’ve discovered while playing around with the debug stick is invisible walls. with a debug stick you can remove the middle part of the wall creating an invisible wall that still acts like a block. they player can’t interact with it, water can’t flow through, falling blocks sit on top of it, and, what is probably the coolest part of it, mobs can’t path find through it. if you’re ever building something that you don’t want mobs to get in or out of while still allowing the player to pass through, use invisible walls. the only problem with it is as far as i know is there is no easy way to world edit it. you have to go through and manually remove each part of the wall till its disappeared

In real world examples you cannot see through stained glass unless you are very close up to it. Since this is vanilla minecraft the best you can do is to hint at what you are trying to accomplish just as in a lot of paintings objects in the distance are just hints of the close up object. You get close to a to a Bob Ross painting or any other landscape painter and you realize that shack is just a smear of paint that is in just the right shape or that tree in the distance is just a line with a couple of neutral color swaths of paint. I get the same feeling when I look at Bdub's builds. It is art. The minor details, shapes and contrast just leads the mind to interpret intent and meaning. Maybe one day Minecraft builders will also be seen as artists just like digital artists and traditional medium artists. Keep it up Bdubs!

Thank you for always making me smile, I was at a low point today and watching you make these amazing builds just made my day a little warmer, I’ve been watching you for a couple years now and you always make my day!

I never would have thought to use antialiasing techniques as a way to build! My mind is BLOWN. This is why I'm a Bdubs fan, he's always coming up with insanely good building ideas like this.

This is genius. True windows limit the interior of a space but having false windows in places you dont actually want a view from the inside makes it easier to decorate a room. Thanks for new techniques.

What a beautiful build! ….and using those blocks for stain glass windows beautiful! i love that you championed some really different building techniques. Using the mechanic properties of the blocks for building, is genius. Im so glad you did not just make the tree into a blossom tree. Sometimes when our plans don’t work an opportunity for something far more interesting can be realised.
