A classic old comedy show,better than some of the so called comedy we get today

Now watching this on gold tv its good old fashioned comedy not the trash you get today i do remember this from the 1970s love it

Dear God I feel old! Saw this the first time around and couldn't remember what it was called over the years, I could only recall Robin Baily, John Comer and the opening titles for some reason! Wonderful to find old shows from your youth on these channels...scary though, how fast the passage of time....this first episode was broadcast in August, 1975....47 years...

A real treasure trove of former Summer Wine alumni were involved in the making of this BBC Television production. Plus, dependable BBC stalwart Ronnie Hazlehurst providing the theme music 🎶. A close-knit team this seems. ❤ 😊

How good to see that Bernard Lodge was credited for the title sequence, he created many of the title sequences for Doctor Who as well.

It always reminded me of Last of the Summer Wine, but funny.

I always remember the episode with Lofty Saltmaresh in it who was about 5 ft tall with his netted driving gloves & Morris Marina🤣

Another "comedy" that didn't escape the confines of the sceptered isles, thus keeping the international reputation of British TV intact.

It is quite true most women do yack, yack, yack. It's like the old Les Dawson gag: "Archaeologists have found a human skeleton. They reckon it's about 10 thousand years old and female. They know it's female because it's mouth is open".
