Just want to say that Pamali means like an unbreakable rule in Indonesia. It was a rules with the excuse of something passed down from ancestors. 4 kinds of Pamali are 7:17 7:25 11:27 14:30 That example was, we can't say something like that to "them". Other Pamali ex : - Put baby on dining table. - Using umbrella inside house - Take a bath in the night - Scream/being disrespectful in a forest etc.

' The White Lady' real name is 'Kuntilanak', legends said that she died bcs giving birth to her child that she loved so much and thats why shes gonna be aggressive if you comment on her doll or her ' baby '. you can hear her cries at night bcs she weeps for her baby^^ also spoiler for some of the endings below!! theres actually 35 endings of them- some of them that i know is that you can just run from the very first night without doing nothing, or completing the first night only and run and so many more You can also get some of the horror endings where you got the ghost power by giving your blood to 'Jenglot' or like some kind of voodoo doll, or even comment on the baby doll and hide under the bed for the rest of the night^^

FYi there is other 3 episodes or dlc in the game: -The Tied Corpse (Pocong) -The Little Devil (Tuyul) -The Hungry Witch (Reog) Yes, all of them are worth to play. I literally got scared by just watching someone playing the game. P.S: In tied corpse you worked in a cemetery, so be ready for the very uncanny feeling and atmosphere. In The Little Devil you will go to your grandpa's house to do the same shit as Jaka in The White Lady eps/case but with way bigger house + Tuyul instead of Kuntilanak. In The Hungry Witch you will go to your mother's house because your mother is calling you to go to her house (if i'm not mistaken) and you will get an unexpected plot twist in the ending. Also pamali has like 36 endings for every DLC/case. So good luck with that.

omg!! i remember playing this game when it was first released and it was such a breath of fresh air from other horror games because the events really did depend on how much you knew and respected the culture :))) im not indonesian, but i am from southeast asia, and there are a lot of similarities between our superstitions and theirs, so it really hit close to home and freaked me out haha

i've been finishing this game long time ago...and seeing tuonto playing it, brings back so many memory and nightmare i had in this game, theres so many ending that can triggered by doing certain thing, and some of the ending, really make me cant sleep all the night, and have to stay until the morning hahaha

It’s common for some family who brings this culture from generation to generation. This more make sense since this game is about ‘White Lady’, a spirit of ‘a women who died bcs of suicide in her pregnancy period’ (cmiiw)

Pamali is a rule like taboo but not as strict as taboo. Pamali rule always true (you shouldn't do those things) but the reasons behind them always doesn't make sense and a lot of the reasons are something about ghosts. Most common example of pamali: Kid: *sits in front of a door Parent: pamali, don't sit in front of a door, you will hard to find your soulmate to marry when you grown up. See? The rule is true, it's common sense don't stay or sit in front of a door. But the reason is weird 😅

Hi there! I don't really check your channel that much but every time your contents get to me I've always enjoyed them! I was a bit surprised to find that you were playing this kinda-old game from Indonesia, but it was a pleasing experience to watch you go through everything I knew would happen. I am also Indonesian, so it really warms my heart to know that some people still play this game. This game just got a movie adaptation and it is still on air in the cinema, so I wouldn't be surprised if many people watch the gameplay (perhaps rewatching, just like me lol). Maybe that will give you one more reason to keep playing this game. I noticed some people in your stream chat said that the game was too dark and I couldn't agree more actually. One of the most undesireable thing about this game is how extremely low the brightness is. Some content creators increaded the gamma so it will be easier to see. And don't worry, I think the experience just got more enjoyable, bc it's just crazy dark there. One tip if you want to keep playing this game (and I really hope you would); being respectful, thoughtful, no comment or interacting with any object, and you will get a peaceful gameplay. Meanwhile, reckless interactions or comments will give you more paranormal interactions. This game rly gives you a lot of control over how much horror you will experience. Also a bit of help, if you hear chicks sound nearby, it means the white lady is far. And if the chicks sounds far away, it means she's near. It's just the other way around. Good luck! Pamali is normally considered as old wives tales and urban legends, "sleep with a scissors below your pillow if you're pregnant so no Kuntilanak bothers you" things like that are considered as horror. BUT there are other Pamalis that are not horror-related (but still horrifying for people in the olden days) such as: - don't sit blocking the door, or you will not meet your soulmate - don't leave any food on your plate when eating and don't sweep the floor without making sure it's actually clean, or your husband will have stubbles - don't sleep at the dusk prayer hours (Maghrib) - Idk why this is not allowed, tbh other than you will get disoriented (which is not a Pamali), if anyone knows please enlighten me anything I miss, please let me know lol

hi Tuonto!, next time if you wanna try playing some more Indonesian horror game, you can try "Dreadout" theres 2 games/chapter(?) of the game, "Dreatout 1" and "Dreadout 2". It's mostly about Indonesian folklore too, and as much as i remember it had variety kinds of Indonesian urban legends such as Kuntilanak, tuyul, pocong, and so on.
