I DIED after 2 years in Hardcore Minecraft (or why Ph1LzA is so important)

I've had a good run, but in the most unexpected of moments it went wrong. World download down below.
I spent more time in this world, building something special than @Ph1LzA did when he survived 5 years in Hardcore Minecraft, but time played doesn't really tell the whole story. As my season 1 came to an end it's incredible to look around and see how many people have awesome long running hardcore worlds now.
It's a pleasure and an honour to be a part of that community. Thank you all for being here with me and for me! On to season 2, I have a lot of catching up to do with all the amazing world that are out there nowadays. Wadzee, Sandiction, aCookieGod, Jihita, Kolanii, Bepo and let's face it: at this point even Luke TheNotable... I'm coming for you guys! Again.
And Phil, if you read this I want to thank you for that spark of inspiration. It had a very real impact on my life.

It's undeniable that he sparked something special though and I'm grateful for finding his story at the beginning of lockdown. It started the best period in my life so far. EDIT: NFT will be replaced by a physical usb stick with a unique version and a certificate of ownership. Currently the puzzle is UNSOLVED

I don't see this death as loony's fault but the best way to prevent dying in minecraft hardcore in nearly any situation is pressing escape when you are low or in a bad situation. This will pause the game and give you time to think about your next actions. I hope that this will prevent your from dying one day

NFTs are used all wrong, I get why you hate it (as do I). The concept of capturing ownership of something publically accesible in a digital form is a great thing though. As soon as the dumb hype and speculative investments die down in a few more years it'll start living up to its potential.

@@roomathetopp Yes the energy consumption is a problem. It's also a problem that has to be resolved for the technology not to die. Think about the amount of energy that's used to stream and watch RU-vid videos though. We're going to have to make an energy transition quick (way past due). Regardless of NFTs.

Loony, I have always struggled with a fear of loss and sometimes that held me back from being creative, because I always felt like what I would make wouldn't be good enough and I would have to change it. Paralysis by analysis. But watching your videos inspired me so much and I just dove in and am now working on the Minecraft house of my dreams! (And it's awesome!) I've been watching this since day 1, and honestly, it's been one of the greatest adventures I've ever witnessed in hardcore Minecraft. I'm really sad to see this journey to come to an end, but hope it will bring many opportunities for you in the future!

Like in real world none can live for ever…i enjoyed your streams every time…and you inspired me to let out my full potential in my builds on my worlds…it’s sad that you had to die by a piglin…but thats fate and nobody can escape it…not even philza or you Loony…i am hyped for season 2 and hyped what builds you are gonna build and adventures you are gonna live…but for all of us you are gonna stay a legend that will be reborn in a new world…long live the legend.

AN NFT? Man really spent 2 years building an amazing world just to ruin it by making it crypto. Just turned an amazing piece of work into a commodity, while also trashing the environment should transactions occur
