Emily, you are a true SURVIVOR!!! My mother has been in the ICU for the past week due to an Anoxic Brain Injury as a result of a cardiac arrest. She will open and close her eyes but is not responding to any commands. The doctors are pressuring us to pull the plug but we REFUSE. Seeing your remarkable recovery is so encouraging and serves as inspiration for me and my family! Thank you for sharing your story and I am praying my mother will have a miracle recovery just as you did :)

You're SO strong...I almost died from an overdose a few years ago. I was in a very bad place in life and almost lost it all. Thankfully, my boyfriend was there to call the ambulance. That night I was taken in and they said I was 3 mins away from losing all oxygen in the brain. I can't wait to continue to watch your videos knowing how truly lucky I am to be here. A true WARRIOR indeed. Please provide the information on the hospitals or rehab centers that helped you with your recovery. I have a relative whose prognosis is to be in a vegetative state for the rest of his life. Doctors have said that the family should make the decision on whether to place him in a nursing rehab for the rest of his life or remove the ventilator and allow him to die peacefully. Family believes he still has a fighting chance. Keep up the good fight. Thanks!!

I was waiting for the story about the light. But your story was even more powerful. You are such a beautiful person not just on the outside. But inside as well. I'm disabled with a bad back. And sometimes life can be a struggle. To me the meaning of life is simple... LOVE. Family & friends & just being good to one an other. Anyways thank you for your story. I know it has helped many out there. God Bless you. You are a light in this dark world. PS And your voice isn't as bad as you think. With time & lots of practice you'll get it back. I had a problem with my eye (detached retina) . And had a couple surgeries trying to fix it. And at the end the doctors were like that's as good as it'll get. And I could barely move one eye. I said to myself what do they know these doctors don't know it all. They don't know everything about the human body. So every day I would look in the mirror 20 minutes & try to move that eye just a little bit & hold it there. And it was painful but I didn't give up. In a couple weeks I could move it a little bit & hold it. So I kept doing this & saying to myself I'm not giving up. And in a couple months you wouldn't be able to tell there was anything wrong with my eye. It's all about not giving up. And keeping a positive frame of mind. And say to yourself I show them, I can do this. Human will is a hell of a thing & can do the impossible

Honestly, you seem like you're in a great place right now. Death is my biggest fear because it's basically the "unknown" on wether the afterlife is real or not. I'm so glad you're okay and I wish you the very best for you! I'm happy you are still with us on this Earth. Stay strong!!

I didn’t overdose but on November 13th 2017 I took a full bar of Xanax, never had taken one before and didn’t know what was a lot, on my trip home I blacked out from it and took another whole bar- I ended up staying blacked out and took 4 points of molly all at once. I passed out multiple times and broke my tail bone and was found laying on a glass table half on the floor. Luckily I survived but I still have trauma mentally from it. Scariest thing ever. I wish I knew how to get past that scary feeling.
