Another reason to catalogue: uhhh my boyfriend and I both work from home and I can’t just go into my closet because it interrupts his work especially if I wanna have a mid-day fashion show so I can just style my outfits from my phone lol
There’s also an app called Whering, it’s very similar but I like the interface better. You can also switch through pieces from left to right while seeing the whole outfit at once!
I'm a fellow whering user that migrated from acloset and I agree that I like the Whering interface better than some of the other free wardrobe app options
whering has it's issues but what I really love about it is that you can upload multiple items in one go! I downloaded indyx and it was one item at a time D;
Just a heads up, when I did my giveaway with Indyx, I had some people tell me their comments got erased by youtube's spam filter I guess because they have a username in them? I gave people an email address they could send their username to if their comment was deleted!! (PS I also just entered but idk if my comment will show up either hehe hope it does)

Lol I loved the shoutout to oldschool digital dress up dolls. I also definitely played with the same ones! Funny how I ended up crap at fashion anyway lol. I wish I could enter the giveaway! But my entire closet is already packed away because I'm moving to Japan on MONDAY! And I won't get to my actual new apartment until about the 23rd between travel and job training so there's no way I can have my stuff on the app in time. Might book you eventually though because I honestly need help filling gaps in my wardrobe, especially for casual outfits. I got it together for my work clothes (eventually -_- ) but I am so bad at anything that isn't jeans and t-shirt for casual days 😅

Can you exclude clothes that are in the laundry or not in season when selecting outfits ? I've downloaded whering a few months ago but I'm not using it first because I don't have time to take pictures of my entire wardrobe, second because you can't filter out your winter clothes in summer 😢
Whering does have filters for the seasons. There's also a new feature where you can attach a status (e.g. laundry, donate, repair) to your items but I'm not sure if you can use that to filter out items.

You can filter out clothes by seasons and other options on Indyx (Thought you need to specifically tag them as such). When you make an outfit it's all up to you to choose what you want! I would say to really make use of the any type of digital wardrobe app you need to take a photo of everything. Next time you have a free day- use the time to take a photo of the rest of your items! In the end it'll be worth it, atleast for me getting ready has been so easy :)
Something I’ve been wanting to try on the shirts that are too tight on my hips, I was thinking of splitting the side seams so that it becomes like a side slit t shirt and I just have to wear biking shorts or something but still have a big baggy shirt feel….. yet to try it but just a recommendation maybe 🫣
