Love this. This is one of my favorite things about FT models in general, that they are almost even more fun with things go sideways, whether intentional or accidental. And, I'm glad you got some much needed R&R time. Build. Fly. Repeat.

Glad to hear you had good times at SEFF. Getting out to fly, laugh, and hang out with friends is why we are in the hobby. Maybe some CF from WCRC could reinforce the wings and you can try the cobra again? 😁 Let me know if we can help out with your project between you and Mr. Orchard.

I do cobras with my FT Super Hornet all the time. Mines just the normal elevator setup. For anyone who wants to do them, you can do it at higher speed, but ensure that you chop the throttle a second before you do. Great video, Ben! See you at FliteFest?
