ok I do have to say they don't "not care that they're dead" in NEO TWEWY, the whole point is that they never actually died in the first place, they were dragged into the game while they were still alive. A lot of the frustrating elements of stupidity on the characters' part makes a lot of sense when you replay it understanding that they really aren't dead.

@@Gavarret I found Homura's transition into madness quite hard to bare and didnt fully line up with the message of being alive the og show had, it just all got a little too muddled mentally for me tbh.

@@Coffee_Cakes I understand but for me the OG show had a thread of "Himura started this out of love, but continues it out of something else" that connected with her slowly turning negative and would turn into a witch if she kept failing. But I guess it might not be in the text and just an assumption on my part that do something an infinite amount of times will inevitably drive you insane. So I get your point.
