Hi Hanah, nice videos 👍 i saw in the video you got 3 sticks of RAM, it means you are now running your RAM in single channel configuration which will lower your gaming performance, i advise you to buy and add a fourth ram stick to use dual channel. You can check single vs dual performance comparison videos on YT, good luck 🤞
Slack in the bearing/coil causing the fan to sink into the housing when heat is applied is what it sounds like. If you ever wanted to learn about the inside of power supplies, you could discharge the power with the power switch off and the paperclip trick, then very carefully open it and replace the fan inside.
@@HanahFaye Understandable, I would definitely keep the old power supply for testing as long as it's placed fan up it should not grind on a test bench!
A drop of essential oil inside the PSU`s cooler-bearing fixed that problem for me. Costed me 15 minutes of tinkering only. Now my PC smells like oranges and vanilla every time I turn it on. Sexy af. ;)
Last year I replaced mine because the old one had a short circuit and there was a spark. Even had to format my ssd and harddrive because of that The reason for the short circuit was I think a small screw had fallen into the psu when I was replacing something on motherboard
How about you build an NAS storage server next using UNRAID or Trusnas ? That would be a lot of fun and you could have tons of storage for your GTA game files!
