I’ve been struggling with a mindset lately. A mindset of how I should be the ideal woman because I was raised in an Asian family that enforced those standards (like, stay a virgin, take care of kids, always obey men, etc.) After seeing Clara’s channel, I slowly started to become more appreciative for myself and I’m slowly losing my internal misogyny.

Finally someone who understands me!!! This is exactly how i feel right now,my parents dont understand that when i grow up i don't want kids and they are saying thing like:"every adult needs to have kids,thats the purpose of life,if you keep that up no man will want you...oh so you want to take care of us when we'll be on our 60s you want to pamper us...(my dad said that last one) If i saw too much skin they will say:"where you going like that"even though there are girls who wear more reviling clothes than mine(like almost nothing is covered) which its not bad for me i dont really care actually its their life not mine but still... My mom in her head thinks that when i grow up im going to be a GOOD MOM just like her(she is always talking nonsense and im not saying this because:"oh its your mom of course you think she is stupid"she literally talks nonsense,always pressuring me,not wanting me to become a model because(her words: That's not a good job,not just for you but for everyone,you should focus on something else,you should also go to college!!(i dont want to go there to waste my life) My dad thinks that just because he is my DAD and my mom is my MOM,i have to be puppet for them!!!!We are moving out next month and dad found that house that we are going to(its my dads mother house,she has 2 houses so she gave us one and we are going to be neighbours with her) He wants grandkids from me,he wants me to ALWAYS listen at everything he says, EVERYTHING,he wants things to always be in his way and if something change he is getting mad(he also have anger issues). In few years,when i become and adult im pretty sure we are going to have arguments and also pretty sure that if THEY STILL DONT UNDERSTAND propably i will never talk to them again.They can't pressure me,they can't ruin my life!!! so ofc if things are wrong im leaving them!(they won't understand i already know it) For the last months my confidence is up because im watching Clara obviously,and i also had a friend who cared for me and supported me BUT she was always pressuring me,my confidence was getting up but at the same time i was feeling broken inside so i left her(she was also doing and still doing some things that i dont like) My goals are:Find some REAL friends in the school that I'll go in 3 months. Saving money so i can buy the things i want and need. If I'll get a boyfriend i make sure to treat him right and want him to treat me right(and not cheat on me). If I'll get a boyfriend I WON'T CHEAT ON HIM(never had a boyfriend in my life but always saying that when i find one i won't cheat!!). Try to be better at school.(in most subjects atleast,i cant deal with math at all😂) Try to not listen to my parents that much because as i said they are making me feel like shit(they care for me,they want the best for me but they always making me feel bad, always saying things i MUST do in life even though they are not necessary or i hate them, saying or doing things that making me feel uncomfortable,they are always arguing so i always feel like...a pain inside of me because i cant take it when they sre arguing for literally every stupid thing,and more which i can't explain). I wana learn volleyball,i want to be better at it! I want to lose a bit fat that i have in my belly,im doing this for my self not because of others!!!(my parents propably want me to be fat like them because everytime im working out or im trying to eat healthier or some times, SOMETIMES skip a meal because im already full from earlier they dont support me!!) I want to have a glow up to show those stupid ex classmates that i had for the last 3 years that im full of life,i can have friends and REAL friends unlike those fake brats that they have,i can get a boyfriend if i want(there were girls who were calling me ugly thats why im saying this)and THAT I CAN BE A MODEL(a girl laughed in front of my face when i said i would like to be a model in the future). Not having a kid is a choice. It’s not always looked as a burden. A good mother would love herself like Clara does so she can love her child unconditionally. Some people just choose not to have a kid. Some think it’s a burden, some think their not ready yet, and some just don’t want to have them! That doesn’t mean kids are terrible. We were all kids once. Not everyone will say they want to have kids. Respect their opinion and they’ll respect yours
