I was sure Nagito would be around until the end. I'm equally surprised that Kazuichi is still here, I didn't think he'd last longer than a few episodes when we were starting this

this is why blind LPs are so great! Your pure reactions to this! I knew it was going to be amazing when you decided to do your cliffhanger there last episode You know, we always joke about it because you usually pick some ominous sentence to stop that just lead to some fan service scene or over dramatic writting usually But this one was a genuine cliffhanger and you had no clue about it 😆

There's so much about this chapter I like, but I do want to give a shoutout to Akane's response to the Monokuma file, and her trying to figure out what matters for this case! Since this is the case right after she lost Nekomaru, it's so cool to see that bit of development and to see her really putting in work to help solve the murder.

Things just got reallllly interesting. Almost reminds me of the first game’s killing toward the end where they covered up evidence with the fire. 🤔

My boi! I knew it was coming even when I played through it the first time. Mostly cause I had seen people fan art for the character. 🫡 he’ll be missed even he was a bit loopy. 🤪😂 great character. We still got Chiaki here tho. ❤

As previously mentioned, yes the spear of Gungnir was what was used to kill her in DR1, but also, the combat knife was stabbed into the body in chapter 5, so both weapons are a call back to DR1

Finally!! Your reaction to the discovery of Komaeda's body was great😂 I remember being exactly like that too. It's honestly my absolute favorite moment in the entire series, because of its pure "What the fuck" factor. The chaotic force of the cast, who's constantly been a step ahead of everyone, is suddenly gone, just like that; the sheer brutality of it all; you have no idea what happened, and _what it all means._ Alright, I'm only 8 mins into the video but I just had to comment. Back to watching ->

The most horrific murder in Danganronpa so far And it happens to someone you can barely feel bad for. Thankfully. Kind of nessecary though. I feel like if he had died more peacefully, like a baseball bat or something, it'd be hard to say 'oh yeah, this was awful' because anything less he might have deserved, honestly.

About your question about the knife, no, it is not impaled into the floor, but many LP often mistake that it is because of the way it is drawn.

I really hope you play Ultra Despair Girls before diving into Volume 3. There’s a lot of fun stuff you’ll get to see and learn by playing that game. And the gameplay style is completely different from 1 & 2, so I think you would enjoy it!

I haven't played this game, nor seen anyone else play it, but it seems strange that the game said you're done investigating the surrounding area of the crime scene. Maybe it wasn't important. Maybe we'll return to that later, what I'm thinking of. Great play-through, Mage! 😎👍 Addicting!

Proper 'drawn and quartered' he was! After being disabled with all those thigh stabs, and being taped quiet. 4:05 Same! It felt like we were in that 'safe zone', similar to how the end of 1 went. But they had to change it up, to keep us surprised and invested! ^_6 Awww... I have an idea of what happaned. And it would kinda make sense, with him wanting to push people through Despair, for Hope's sake.

Another fantastic video!! but man your timing is perfect because its KILLING ME MAGE!! haha enjoying this journey with you! If you continue to play the series you have a choice between Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls (lots of lore but Completely different type of gameplay) or move straight into Danganronpa 3 next but even if you never played another Danganronpa game at all we all will always love your channel and your energy!!

@@magemasher22 Just a note. Before you play the 3rd game you really NEED to watch the V3 Anime. It doesn't spoil anything for the 3rd game but it answers a lot of the important questions that weren't quite answered around the 1st 2 games, and as a bonus you get to see that Chiaki can be a total badass if needed. Also there are a couple small parts in it you won't understand if you haven't played Ultra Despair Girls. I think it would be best if there was a way we could watch it with you, but I don't know of any way that could be done, but maybe a review video after you watched it touching on major points. Sorry, I'm skipping way ahead, you haven't even finished 2 yet. Please remember though to watch V3 before playing 3. It's very worth it.

You said you were reading the comments about everyone upset about the last cliffhanger.... I know you'd be losing a lot of the interactivity with the fans following along, but I actually would suggest not reading comments from here on out. The Danganronpa fandom may be the single group of people I trust the least with spoilers, and I'm kinda surprised nothing has been spoiled for you yet. They just CANNOT keep it in their pants sometimes. Dunno if you have mods on the channel, but get one of them, or a trusted friend if not, to screen them for you if you just have to know what we're saying.

There's a cool little thing you can do in the next chapter, to avoid spoiling anything I'm going to be as vague as I can During the next chapter before you go to the ancient ruins, check the cottages of everyone who has died

Yeah, didn't see that one coming...That was certainly a cliffhanger for the ages. 4:56 I was just in the process of typing that sentiment myself. He was a jerk, but a fascinating one, and this seems a touch excessive, even for him. 40:25 That crossed my mind too, honestly. Would certainly make an interesting twist.
