I've only EVER bought CoD for the campaigns. The old campaigns used to be so epic and action movie like and sold me on all future installments to the franchise, even when they are underdeveloped

Has literally any game ever gotten the Winchester 1897 correct? I’m honestly not sure. This is a little thing, but it’s historical relevance. I own one of these, and I promise when you shoot it you know how different it is, being able to slam fire this gun was insane in the trenches of WW1 and in a smaller amount WW2 as well. It seems super easy to make, hold down trigger to slam fire, massive damage but very low accuracy. Idk I’m ranting, but it’s historically important, and extremely satisfying

Hey, anyone else remember when gamers said the Battlefield V trailer didn’t feel like WW2? That was exactly my reaction with CoD Vanguard.

Calling it now. "I'm buying Call of Duty for the campaign" is not going to age well. I also see the hype for Battlefield 2042 didn't age that well either.

All good things must come to an end at some point. The entire COD series is the perfect example.

No joke, Act Man, my jaw literally dropped when I saw that the multiplayer factions were called "My team" and "Enemy team" 😐

You know what this franchise needs? A good 3 or 4 year rest between games. People wouldn't observe eclipses if they happened every day.

The in-game model for the MG-42 is missing the Muzzle Device. This muzzle device was instead put in the pool of attachments as a “Recoil Booster” which yes it is, but without it, the MG-42 you get in-game would be bolt action because it needs the muzzle device to cycle properly.

The thing about battlefield 2042, didn't age well.

I'm a fan of high and low ground battles. I also enjoy objectives. Game mode where two scenarios are playing out at the same time. Vehicle with bomb on the way to a building and people in said building arming explosives on different floors. Have two teams. Easy fun.

I remember when *My Team* went to Afghanistan, on my second deployment back on 2018. I had no idea *My Team* would be leaving several years later and *Enemy Team* would recapture all that territory and take ANA gear.

I love how they want to be politically correct when it comes to WW2, yet they are in the middle of a controversy involving some truly disgusting shit.

As someone who only has a PS4 and cant play the old (and apparently better) cod games if any were to be ported or remastered to modern consoles i would definitely want it to be world at war

black ops vietnam it adds together some stuff from cold war with missions as Adler (how he got his scar REALLY!) and some more frank and woods

honestly screw people pushing for "offensive content" to be removed from gaming. we cant have an interesting historical game if we cant include the things that were bad back then. its so annoying that a small handful of people that are vocal make everything less interesting for the vast majority of others that dont get offended by a story in a game. gaming is just being ruined by the small groups that push for the removal of everything that is even slightly offensive to them. tired of it.

I remember when I saw a RU-vid ad for Vanguard and I, no joke, thought it was just a really, really belated DLC for WW2. So when I found out that Vanguard was an actual full game, I can’t even describe the unbridled amount of “meh” I felt. It’s like seeing a piece of cracked pavement, then seeing another similar one, thinking you may have gone in a circle, then the a sigh of sheer uneventful monotony as you walk on when you realize it’s just lazy coincidence.

Hey act man I totally get what you're saying about cod I took a break from cod after black ops 4 didnt play modern warfare cold War and just came back for vanguard because I got it for Xmas it is a fun but it's broken like every cod for the bast decade now I think we're all fed up with. But I will say after a few years whitout playing cod coming back is nice and fun when it works and I would recommend you do the same if you're sick of cod just take a break for a year's or two you're a great and honest RU-vid and I love you dude. I'm not saying you will fall I love with cod but I think you will fall in love with cod but you could get a bit more enjoyable for you

I'm kind of getting sick of repetitive gameplay and mechanics too, as well as multiplayer. The other day I played BF1 single player, and it was a blast! We need more breaths of fresh air like that.

The sad part is a lot of those "dot sights" are actually real gun sights for planes or tanks, but they need a huge fuckoff battery to power them. God forbid you don't have 30 different sights in your game

We’ve reached a point where even with massive developments in technology, COD: World at War, a game released back in 2009, was the grittiest and best representation of a game set in that time period. If only Activision and Treyarch had the balls to remaster that gem. Newsflash: warfare doesn’t give a shit about political correctness. Either portray everything historically accurately or don’t bother at all. Or, go the Man in the High Castle or Wolfenstein route and state that it’s loosely based upon history. Moreover, jbecause some people blow a head-gasket at seeing a Nazi or The Rising Sun flag doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be represented in a historically-represented game. Moreover, it devalues and disrespects the millions that sacrificed their lives to stop an evil that had conquered most of the known world. There’s a reason why history falls under the category of education

I’m so sick of ww2 maps being sunny, generic, vaguely modern looking places. The cloudy, rainy, dingey looking maps from world at war make it feel much more oppressive and visually “ww2”. The creepy music and many announcers just add to the atmosphere which ww2 and vangaurd seem to be missing.

I can fucken appreciate the fact that Cold Qar tried, and gave us an Kick Ass Campaign, and a servicable Zombies that did change up the Zombies formula a bit that did give me some joy...and VANGUARD, strips away the meaning of Zombies, FIST FUCKS Multiplayer, and a Campaign that makes me fall asleep. VANGUARD is the lowest point of Activision, and COD MW 2019 did a take a risk, and it paid off hugely, and adding Warzone, which was fun was another fucken thing to praise the game for. And now Cold War, keeping what MW 2019 had, and experimenting a little with zomvies, giving the player more control was servicable. Then VANGUARD, just a lazy fucken cashgrab...

I wouldn’t mind a tryarch rbz only game. If it had a bunch of the old maps remastered and some new ones. They would update for a year or two. An entire storyline. Something like that would be cool

“If they went with a steampunk route” I would be fully onboard if COD said “screw it! We are already ignoring historical accuracy, let’s just make a game with an alt history setting.” Like if the Germans rallied and pushed the allies out of Europe and new radical weapons had to be made to try for another push.

WaW has some of the most believable and genuine music and voice lines of any historical game I’ve played ever. Treyarc really knows how to make music

I always played Cod for the campaign (mainly due to the fact I had no friends that could play and no internet as a kid), and honestly, the multiplayer for the newer games has always turned me off.
