It's like you mentioned. Nobody covers Red vs Blue like you do, especially considering how old it is. I look forward to the 1-2 hour discussion more than the actual episodes. I've seen them 100's of times, I've seen people react to them 100's of times. However your discussions, thoughts, and theories breaths new life into the show. It sometimes feels like the season is airing for the first time. I get just as giddy now seeing your reactions uploaded as I did 10 years ago seeing new episode uploaded on to the RT site. I'll be here for RvB, RWBY, anime, video games, and whatever comes in the future!

I watch his channel every single day. I adore this man and loved his reaction content and I always rewatch his rwby and rvb reactions because i love this guy. But it’s been years since you began season 12. You say you’ll upload rvb but still no upload, you broke your promise. I don’t condone any of the harassment from other people but I honestly don’t blame them. You could pull in mad views from just finishing the rest of the show but I doubt we won’t see an upload until the genshin channel starts dying

Im not much of a commenter but to be fair... Its been 3 years since he uploaded season 12... While i dont condone the hate and behavior, i dont really blame them either... for me its boiled down to a less than hopeful "you'll get to it if you get to it" mentality. i only check on the RvB stuff every year or so at this point and thats about it...

I'm not gomma be rude I'm just gonna say this, it's been a decade. Technoblade is gone, I can only imagine that some may have actually died, waiting for you, just like how some people actually could not wait and passed on waiting for kingdom hearts 3. That, and it's a simple matter of sticking to Ur word. A mistake is fine, 2 mistakes is ok. Saying something about rvb over 3 times,and still breaking it. Well what can be said then? Over years too? Is that not just being a liar?

I can understand the frustration when one of the best reactors in the game goes on hiatuses but it really highlights how a large portion of audiences now don’t see content creators as hard working people and instead as work-horses that they turn against when the dopamine stream slows down. When compared to other reactors you usually add a ton more in depth discussion and you can tell from the note taking that you are passionate about the series you cover and the investment of time put into the writing and editing of the videos are evident. Even if i'm not interested in some of the current anime reactions doesn’t mean i'd hate watch or comment, I just go on the search for other content to watch while I wait. loving AOT and can't wait for RVB and future series

I think I can understand the frustration on both ends, to be honest. And both are kind of valid, as I see them. On one hand, I think when people say things like "It sucks that Arnold won't get to this point," it's because they've already waited so long, and hoped for something to happen so much, that they've come to expect that it will not. Even if they really, truly wish to see it. People can only be told "Don't worry guys, it i's going to happen! I promise!" so many times before they start to nod their heads, or shrug, or say "Yeah, alright. We'll see." It's somewhat understandable. I am someone who believes both can be done, and is also kind of skeptical when someone just tells me the same thing over and over again, because actions over words matter much more to me. So while I do understand what you mean when expressing your annoyance with those who come off as, or are aggressive towards your absence, I can also believe that those people may be living their lives, and just talk about it in that moment. It doesn't take very long to leave a comment on something, especially a short one. Overall, though, generally, I do get what you were saying there. It is interesting too, seeing people rotate around the same space. I can only think of three things: A. the people that like RvB only are invested in RvB stuff and seek out those who make stuff in that sphere. B. Those people definitely do have other interests, and you're only really seeing them in that sphere because you're in it too [think of it like a neighborhood, 'you see your neighbors because you're in the same area', sort of thing.] C. Both A and B can be true, but there may only be a limited amount of content creators that are covering that particular thing, and you happened to be one of them. Your 'loss' [for lack of a better term] would mean one less creator for that thing in question, and maybe they're angry about that. On the other hand, none of that means they should or can feel entitled. Upset, _maybe,_ sure. But it's not their channel, and it's not their stuff. They might enjoy how you react to things, or your person, but they have to understand that you are _still_ a person. Your _own_ person. You having to deal with all these comments, are rightfully annoyed by the fact that there are others going into your comment section and demanding, or feeling entitled to your content, and are talking about you that way in other people's comments as well. That's definitely something that would annoy me, and while it's mostly foreseen [because people are people, and they will talk], it's not warranted. I'm glad that you're taking care of yourself, because without you, there _is_ no "MurderOfBirds." You are more important than the channel you're running, you know? I'll always say that to Cal, and I extend that to you, too. 💟

I feel like people's sense of entitlement nowadays is insane. Like, we're not out here waiting on pre-ordered box sets of MoB content that we've paid for. We're allowed to witness genuine reactions to content we care about when it occurs. It's not something we're owed; it's something we're fortunate to see.

I've already seen a handful of these comments before watching this video, and I'd be the type to continue watching RvB and other variety content just to spite them. Spite isn’t the most mature motivator, but goddang is it a powerful one. Keep up what you're doing. You have a lot of great TV on the horizon both inside and outside of RvB.

I haven’t checked your account in a while. I’m glad you’re back to rvb. I’m gonna be honest I’m not into anime so rvb is the only content I’ve watched but it’s my favorite react series. I don’t care how long it takes as long you just keep some dialogue open. Ghosting this account for 7 months not posting anything and posting daily genshin videos made it seem like you just dipped with no word or anything

I'll be honest, I only watch your red vs blue content mainly because I have tried watching some of your other videos but it's not what I really came here for when I first discovered your channel. For me your reactions to red vs blue are my favorite so far out of every other reactor (No shade onto them, they're great too) I just find it more enjoyable when I watch you. I understand that you have other content and other viewers like myself that care specifically about your other content as well. In fact I've been watching your reactions since I was 13, a lot has happened since then, and their have been moments where I've been impatient, but I understand that you have a life, your life doesn't revolve around rvb. I love your reactions to rvb because they have been similar to mine or I love watching how you make up theories about the show and you've normally been able to predict most things. I also love how genuine you are. I'd like to tell you I appreciate the updates in the past, and you have claimed to make more videos in the next coming days afterwards and not being able too due to circumstances. Gotta say the way I found both Rooster Teeth and your channel was completely accidental, I was bored just trying to find something to watch and stumbled onto RWBY with no idea what it was. I found the show just after volume 2 finished and I started looking into Rooster Teeth and found RVB. Shortly after finishing what was available of RVB back then I then started looking to see what other people thought of it and found Murderofbirds. I believe you were just finishing RVB season one when I found your channel. Your reactions are some of the best, I also enjoy when you make predictions in your videos and end up being right. I am a patient person and have other things to keep me interested so these long in between for RVB content isn't so bad and the fact that you're making the effort should be more than enough since you're history has shown that you do follow up on what you say

Saw your video two times and wanted to think what I wanted to say before typing. First off, I just want to say I’m proud of where you at, despite the harsh battles you had to go through such as the dark times during covid. Second of all I want to apologize to you. I’ve known your channel since the very early Naruto days. Granted at that point in time I wasn’t subscribed to you, but I do roughly remember watching some of your old OLD videos back in the day. Later on I discovered your channel again during the Volume 4 era of RWBY and loved watching your reactions. I was always eager to watch your livestreams and discussions and was excited to see where you would go with your channel. I was excited for some of the promised videos you said you would make during the Volume 5+ era. And I remember that whenever you did try you would always slowly but surely stop with some of the extra content. Whenever RWBY Season was over, I remember how selfishly annoyed I was seeing less content in your channel. I remember being selfishly mad seeing this pattern over and over. I was a younger less mature person back in the day but it still doesn’t excuse my immature thoughts. Granted I never really commented on your channel as much but I did try to keep up watching your videos. I don’t think I ever commented anything negative but I did have those negative thoughts about your channel. As I grew older I realized how difficult it was to keep everything in my life in check as well work on my own channel as a hobby. I realized how difficult and miserable you could be within such a short period of time. It made me realize how bitter I was with a lot of things back in my early 20’s. Now I’m in my mid-late twenties, and I feel like an apology is overdue. RU-vid is very competitive right now, and I know that you have to keep on trying new things to find out what your audience is gonna be into. I don’t watch your videos as much I used to, but I do try to keep up to date with anything super important video updates you got going on. Keep moving forward bro! You got this. Ignore those haters. It’s so cool that you managed to find a way to keep on going in the platform and moving on to different things that have helped keep you financially stable. You're the man, Arnold! I've been watching your RWBY reactions since Volume 3. When I saw that you were going to watch Red vs Blue, I was so excited! RvB is my favorite show, but no one I know watches it. Your in depth discussions have been great! I started college when you uploaded your reaction to Season 1. Your videos were a great escape from the stress of college. I really hope these people don’t ruin the RvB experience for you. I remember you went through a bit of that during Season 6 (Reconstruction). People said you weren't paying enough attention lol. What a ridiculous thing to say, considering the amount of notes you take. Keep up the great work, and don't stress yourself out too much!

Writing the comment even though I've only seen the first 4min as of right now; also someone who is not usually watching your RvB content: I have seen this happen to not only you but other content creators as well. I don't understand whats going on in peoples heads when they go out of their way to not only leave a bitter taste in your mouth but also their own, when making these accusations. They are ultimately ruining it for those exposed to it, and thats primarily you and they themselves. In a way its purely just wrong to have expectations in an individual and then get soo bitter just because they are not met, cause it can just often happen that life gets inbetween. And you have stated more than once that you have been struggling with certain things in life and with yourself. You have given plenty of information for people to come to an understanding, that you want to give your best, but if it doesnt work out it has reason and should be met with acceptance- cause I mean, what else are we supposed to do? Some of us are here for your content, some of us are here cause we came for the content and have been sticking around because we genuinely think you are an amazing person. Yet all of us have to accept when you choose to put out content and when you choose not to cause you have to figure out something else first in life. All that should be okay. And people should lower their expectations when they notice they get salty for no reason. It is unnecessary to just make things worse and ultimately shows that they are people one wouldnt like to be around. Hope I understood the problem of the situation (not a native speaker so reading into the given context might be harder) and I hope my words were somewhat uplifting for you. I know this sounds difficult or plain but... try to ignore them. As I said at the beginning, this happened to other people too. One of my favorite content creators used to be a big TF2 content creator back in the day, and when he switched to variety content, it got so bad with people screaming for "hey, when do you play tf2 again?" "hey okay youve had fun with your little phase there now go back to tf2" and it just left that bitter taste for him with a game he used to love. So... I guess these things just happen when people get attached to some kind of content and suddenly feel entitled to request whatever they want, whenever they want it. And thats ultimately wrong. We just wanna have a good time while we're here. And thats not how that works.

Im a major red vs blue fan, and when you stopped consistently uploading rvb i was upset BUTTTTT this is your channel and i have ALWAYS LOVED your content. Arnold, I came to your channel close to the beginning of RWBY Volume 5, and quickly gravitated towards your reaction style. I ended up watching your RvB stuff afterwards, and I couldn't help but feel disappointed as I watched the upload dates get farther and farther apart for Red vs Blue as time went on. After the rather significant stretch between season 12 and 13, I had been frustrated enough that I was wanting to post angry comments. There wasn't anything wrong with your long periods without RvB, the problem came with your occasional videos where you talked about how you would try to get more consistent with RvB uploads without any real (from this side of the screen) effort to do so. I wouldn't have been happy to hear you weren't going to do more of it, but it really felt like getting strung along. Now, after being recommended one of your videos after a year of barely watching, mostly just because I haven't been too interested in the new stuff, I come back to see you punishing genuine viewers for the actions of angry trolls. I'm not even going to pretend to understand the level of vitriol you're having thrown your way, but you need to understand that your long absences for RvB don't endear you to the people who aren't your downright dedicated fans. This video devolved into repeated insults towards Red vs Blue fans that you slowly started to turn into one-note caricatures as the rant gained speed, which is obviously frustrating for someone who feels like he's getting lumped into a group of entitled internet trolls. Acting like the people waiting for so long shouldn't have any issue with waiting longer is just disingenuous and rude. You repeatedly saying that we need to wait for you "to fuck up first" ignores the fact that your videos went from fascinating reactions to enjoyable reactions that have taken so long to be uploaded that most of the decent fans of the show bounced a while back. My god, watching this video as i typed was a bad idea, because the increase in angry insults directed at a wider group than you seem to intend coupled poorly with the interjection of "My content is obviously just awesome, that's the only explanation for why you trolls are coming back." every four or five minutes has started to get me a little hot headed. I'll leave it with this: Your content is good, that's why i started watching all those years back, but I didn't come for the content alone. Your excitement for the things you watched (or watch, the newer content didn't really speak to me) made it special, and after so many extended unspoken hiatuses for Red vs Blue, it felt like that excitement wasn't there anymore. You don't deserve hate comments, very few people do, but those comments don't invalidate the fact that you dropped the show several times and acted like (seemingly) half-hearted reassurances magically fixed the discontent that festered as people watched your uploads pop into their feeds with no sign of their favorite show. You are not a content machine that people can just push a button to get RvB videos from, but your RvB fans are not simple-minded trolls who only love one show and can't move on to new things. ...well, not all of them.

I'm a long time fan who got roped in from your RWBY and RvB content, honestly it's all I really watch your content for. Yeah, it can be a little upsetting waiting for the next RvB episode, RvB is one of my hyperfixations (Autism and all that). But I couldn't fucking FATHOM typing out something so disrespectful and pretending like your other content is some how lesser because it's not the thing I enjoy. I don't know how people say you don't care, have they seen your other RvB reactions? They're hours long where you discuss, theory craft, and even take pages upon pages of notes! Then I realize it's def the crowd that skips to the reaction and then when it ends they just click off the video... Bruh.. I know i'v kinda been like one of those people. But that's very absurd. If you dislike someone because they aren't making content you want to watch just watch someone else's content. I don't watch the content because of the content I watch it for the reaction to the content. To me the suspense of when Arnold's gonna cry to a rvb episode is worth the wait but at the same time I think when's he going to. Honestly I do miss rvb content and I can’t wait for it to return but I am patient and will wait till it is good and ready because the quality is phenomenal. Take your time and I will be here. I get it to a certain extent. Any and all fandoms can have that toxic side. I try to remind myself to not let the toxicity side of a fandom ruin my love for a show. Maybe that’s something you or someone else needed to hear too.

The title and thumbnail made me chuckle, but the video itself is actually a addressing an important grievance. A lot of people seem to overstep their bounds with how their interact with content creators, there's a certain unspoken allowance for what would typically be intolerable rudeness. On top of that there's a strange habit with relating even minor aspects of the media people produce and work on to their character, as if one could make legitimate judgement calls based on something trivial like that. I was actually one of the people who discovered you because of RWBY so in my mind I always follow you up on content on that, much like I do with Calxiyn, which was why I was pleasantly surprised when I watched a reaction mash-up for Genshin related stuff and found you there. It was nice seeing a familiar face since I also started to play the game later on and discovering your twitch and then your other channel about it made my day because now I have something else in common to experience with one of the content creators I follow. I've really come to enjoy how passionate and attentive you are about the shows and other stuff you care about which is why it always felt like it was worth the wait to see you posting a video. But much like other people have said, I will say that it's great that you're prioritizing yourself first and then the quality of the content because some audiences seem to forget that you are not a robot that's only programmed to cater to them, but just a human and that you also have to earn your living too.

I was one of the people that, before you came back, was assuming that you didn’t care about Red vs Blue, but that was based on the lack of content in general but a lot of Genshin Impact. Again, I assumed that you were just more into streaming at that point. Since you came back, I’m happy to announce that I’ve not mentioned anything negative whatsoever :) When I see RWBY reactions, I’m not even disappointed - your channel was primarily based around RWBY and anime, so I was happy to wait. I’m sorry to hear that you have had to deal with so many toxic RvB fans; I don’t actually know why this community is so toxic… maybe because it’s so old? IDK I will offer the theory that RvB S13 and S14 are some of the best seasons out there. I am 100000% certain that most of these toxic fans will die out after S14. There are certain moments in S15/16 that people will want to see your reactions to, but on a much less scale than S13/14. I completely understand. Those of us who were around in the beginning had the span of over ten years watching and waiting for each season, hell each episode, of this show. It's unreasonable for us to expect others to automatically want to power through a whole series in quick succession.

I might be one of those people who would love to see your reaction to the next RvB batch (having caught up with the show at this point), but I'll never be like "UGH WHEN IS HE GONNA UPLOAD THE NEXT ONE." I've watched you on and off for years, I always love returning to your RvB reactions and watching with you, I've rewatched your S1 - S8 reactions probably dozens of times. So I wasnt aware you were going through this present day. I'll be honest, I dont care about RvB anymore either, until you started watching it. I love Roosterteeth, I love RvB, and I love you, but for me RvB went through a quick downward spiral. Its art and the later seasons are art, but the canon ending for RvB to me is Recreation. The the stuff with Caralina, Epsilon Church, Tucker and the Chorus arc is cool, but for me it feels like.. the saints row 3 era of RvB, the simpsons fever really set in for me. We came a long way from blood gulch and it just stopped feeling the same for me. Which is fine, and not definitive, I guess I just, after where they took the show, and a few real life things, Monty, and some other things im sure none of us want to be reminded of, I was ready to leave the series as is. This is a bit of a cynical take so I wouldnt be surprised if you disagreed, and thats okay. I remember once Burnie said "as long as people still keep watching RvB, we'll keep making it", and I know he meant the best by that, but I think RvB could have taken a page from epsilon Church and set itself free. These people they love RvB so much, they'll beat it like a dead horse for more life, until theres just no love left. RvB has a beauiful grave, it should have been respected and not repeatedly dug up and revived. I may not comment here on the channel often, and may not have been around since the beginning of your channel, I have been around since your first initial reactions for Red Vs Blue, and honestly man, upload what YOU want to upload. I myself used to upload videos albeit with a small sub count, but i only stopped cuz i lost interest. Its your channel man, you get to decide what you want to upload, and what you plan to upload. Nobody else can. Being subscribed since the first RvB videos I've seen, you have definitely come a long way. And i respect the decision to not upload anything RvB based on how you feel and what's been going. Anime may not be my thing to watch, even though i did try to watch RWBY from your videos, i still stay subscribed to you just in case if something new comes up that potentially could get me interesting. I remember back in the day when you were beginning the freelancer saga how frustrating it was to see and hear you get railed by “RvB fans” for not “paying enough attention” or whatever other bs. I'm only here for Red vs Blue. I come by and check every couple months to see if there's something new. While I'm disappointed that there have been so few updates I don't see the point in voicing it. You've got your own thing going and nothing I say will influence that. Ill be here when the episodes come.

I finished the full video and at no point did you demonstrate that you don't care about Red vs Blue anymore, in fact the vigorous note-taking and discussion segments you work on for each of the videos kinda communicates the opposite. But anyhow, I personally just don't see the reasoning in purposefully punishing the majority of your Red vs Blue subscribers for the shitty acts of a few people, most of whom are very young (which is apparent from some of the example comments you showed) or just toxic assholes who will permeate throughout every community, and will continue to shit on you no matter what you do or how hard you're trying. As one of the people who wait for your Red vs Blue uploads, it is undeniably off-putting and frustrating when Red vs Blue content is seemingly put on the back shelf while new shows and other content is covered back to back. OFC; it's your channel, it's your reactions, you have the right to create and upload videos of whatever you want, whenever you want, but I don't understand what's up with that. Sorry there are so many dumbasses from the RvB fanbase who don't care about you at all and came just to get what the content they want and talk shit when they don't, that's fucked behavior no matter how frustrated they might be, but those types of people will always leave those comments and mess with you no matter what you do. Just know the real fans of you will be there too, enjoy your interactions with them and tune out the shitters, that's the best thing you can do.

I don't know who these make believe youtubers are that do better reactions than you. I've watched a bunch and a lot of them are frustrating to watch. There's one guy who literally couldn't get some of the characters names right by season 9. I'm one of the guys that has been frustrated by the finicky uploads, moreso because nothing had felt up front. When promises are made and then they are continuously not kept, well, it's frustrating. But, you are getting better. You're being more transparent, more up front, and that's all I could truly ask for. So thank you. While I'm sure I've been a source of difficulty in the past, which I'm sorry for, I'm thankful things have gotten better. You're still the best of the RvB reactors by far, having set a gold standard as far as I'm concerned.

I discovered your channel in about 2020-2021 ish, I don remember exactly when cause Covid is a blur to me, but that being said I discovered you from the rvb stuff and being a big fan then I found your rwby stuff and even the halo stuff. I watched you for RvB to begin with and I love seeing another person's reactions to a series that I'd grown up with. However, that changed after looking over the other stuff you had in between uploads. I was on the fence about RWBY due to my lack of initial interest and adjusting to the art style (mainly a 2D anime over 3D but have softened over time) it was your initial reactions and mentions of the series that made me take a look back and when I got a chance, I binged the entire volumes 1-8 and enjoyed it thoroughly. The time between your reactions is not what I care for, only the experience. Hell I make cosplay as a hobby and it's always a case of I make mountains out of every mole hill step I need to do in order to complete it. I even wound up making a Prop for my friend's Yang Cosplay (I'll give you 2 guesses what it was). Also discovered my humor is very similar to Yang. I understand completely and those that dunk on you really have no life. World's bad enough, we don't need that negativity bringing down people who have a passion and love to express it but because it's not to their standards or their way, they think they have the right to gate-keep who is or is not a fan of a series or production and how a creator should do things. Would you all rather have a good quality content with true time and effort put in and visible to all... or some cut and paste content with no soul at all in it? Don't bow to the keyboard trolls. You are not a puppet on their strings that needs to dance when they say so. PS - sorry it's a bit of a essay, can never seem think a snappy one liners to get my point across.

At first when I read the title I got a bit sad since I love having people watch this show that I grew up with basically. It would still be fine though if you did stop with Red vs Blue reactions, especially with all the hate that your getting from these toxic people, you can choose to do whatever content you want. Like you said, it's understandable to get a bit frustrated at not getting more Red vs Blue reactions, I would be lying if I said I didn't get a bit frustrated with this, but these people are just so immature with it. Take as much time with these reactions as you want, you are not only the best Red vs Blue reactor, but also the best reactor in general. I haven't seen anybody else put in so many hours on the reactions where the time for small batches of episodes eclipses the entire time of the season. I have always enjoyed your reactions and I look forward to more in the future.
