A FEMALE bodybuilder is helping women to realise their strength through her “Buff Babe Academy”. 24-year-old Julia Rene, from Texas, started the women’s fitness coaching business after receiving judgement from men about her muscular physique. She started bodybuilding over three years ago and shares the often difficult and gruelling process of preparing her body for competitions.

The 'professional bodybuilder' physique doesn't look good to most people honestly. If you are at stage weight i.e. minimal body fat you look like a skinned animal with a skeletal face. Put on an average amount of body fat and you just look bulky. If it is something you like then build the body you want, seek someone who is into you, and ignore the rest. Like almost any body modification you can choose it puts you into a special category where some people are turned on and a lot are turned off.

I won’t lie, I personally normally don’t find very muscular, body building women attractive (and who cares how I feel anyway) but I must say, this girl is really attractive .. I admire her dedication and her message!

I follow her on tik tok and instagram, I love her body, I lift weights as well and my mom kept asking me to stop. She kept on saying "you look like a man, its not feminine, you look ugly" and I always say "so? Its my body not yours, the last time when I was overweight, you kept calling me fat and now I have lost weight and do weight lifting you keep on calling me a man". People should stop judging people for what they choose to do with their body. Everybody gets to make their own choices (as long as nobody gets hurt) whether or not it aligns with YOUR moral compass.

You will not look manly from lifting weights as a woman unless you take androgynous hormones. It is difficult for women to pack on muscle mass already.

You can see the pics in the video when she was younger and what her body type is . She did some cycles entered some competitions.Then realized how wide her shoulders were getting how deep her voice was getting and stopped.

Julia Rene is amazing. I am also a female bodybuilder and I hear comments like "she lost her femininity, she is too muscular for a woman, she looks like a man". I don't care, I am proud of being a muscular woman. I get those comments on social media, nobody says that to me personally, there is a reason why I have big and hard muscles 💪💪💪

I think you look VERY feminine!! I started working out a little over a year ago. The thing that was strange to me at first was my trainer advising me to eat a lot more. It's something as women we are always told the opposite! I appreciate the way you're representing women!

do you notice its big dudes who are always dating big girls? its because they respect the work ethic. If you are a skinny guy with no muscle and have never stepped in a gym, of course you are going to call these women too this or too that. Men want it both ways, to not go to the gym and still expect to be stronger than a woman.....because they are male. Never say women with muscle will never attract men, its blatantly false, redundant and makes those who say it seem like insecure idiots

Generally speaking, and most of the time, the main and only way a female is going to look masculine is by taking steroids. And the main way they look manly is if you actually look at them as a whole, not just the shoulders, back, and chest. Look at Gabi Garcia's before and after. Look at Maria Calo-Wallace, Female bodybuilder Candice Armstrong, Caridad sola, Nicole Bass, CHYNA, Female Body builder Irene Anderson, Kim Chezevsky. Their facial structures look so masculine that they could easily dress in mens clothing (and often do), and go an entire day out in public and be mistaken for dudes. So ladies, if you wanna workout, and are worried about looking "masculine" or "manly", unless you take steroids, you won't look masculine. You'll look reasonably stronger than other women, but that's it. It's just a better defined muscle tone.

Yes, it is her (and every other woman's) right to do and look like she wants. But on the flip side, it is ok for a man (or anyone) to like (or dislike) what they like (or dislike) also. If a man says she is too manly for him, that's his prerogative. If a woman says that a man is too short or feminine or fat for her, that's her prerogative. It is what it is.

Even though she is a female bodybuilder she still very much looks like a woman and is pretty👍. She hasn't taken it over the top like a few have and still has her femininity 👗. I hope she does well but keeps a balance between womanly💁‍♀️ and muscles💪👏
