You know, for a while i feared that heaven might not be the place for me. Why? because there is no sin and its not that i like sin thats holding me back (I dont like it all!!!) its my memories. Simply thinking of adultery is a sin so if i were to want think back on my life will i even be able to? or will i be brain washed... the problem is the only other option is hell and thats just like no... Sometimes i wonder if there is a third option, death.. cause he says only the wicked go to hell, if youre not wicked but good in the heart, accept jesus but dont want to go to heaven what does god do? Im not sure if he said all those not in heaven go to hell just the wicked you know? i simply dont want to be brain washed because i feel like that person there is no longer me. Ive learned to love myself and fight back all of my flaws but the wisdom and knowledge gained from it i dont want it to go. i want to build upon it... make new memories and grow smarter and be able to lay back some days in my marvelous mansion and think back on life, smile at the good times, meditate on my challenges and forge armor of my own (Nothing is done on your own technically but you know what i mean). ive grown attached to me not this body im in but the soul i have. If heaven is indeed like brain wasing then i dont wish to go there, id like to be on the outsidw watching over those and their joy and lay on the clouds outside the gates of heaven. but god still comes to me as he already does, he even still gives task for me to complete like build a house, make this ship, find this food that is my place of bliss... And i highly doubt i can change any of what i just said so far so the question is will i go to hell or heaven or what? ill still follow him till my existence is no more no matter where i fall in the end, i just dont know what will happen to me when the time comes of judgement...
I know exactly what you mean, and it’s very difficult to leave everything behind, everything your worked for, your family, friends, and all the knowledge gained through your experience here on Earth. The Bible does not answer all questions about Heaven, but we do know it’s a Holy place where God lives and where He has prepared a place to live for those who follow him. Remember that we’re sinners and destined to go to Hell, there’s no other option, sin is in our human nature, meaning we’re all wicked and fall short to the glory of God. Our sins will be revealed and so will God’s love for us when we stand before Him. Jesus will cleanse away our sins completely as we enter the kingdom of God. It doesn’t tell us a whole lot about what happens afterwards to our memories, the Bible does talk about our “former troubles” will not be remembered, it doesn’t specify all things, just the former troubles will be hidden from our eyes (Isaiah 65:16). It may be that we might just remember everything that God done for us, we’ll be able to see how God worked in our lives during the hard times, and all of our question will be answered, in other words we might just remember everything that will enhance our worship towards God. God will wipe away all of your tears and you will no longer feel pain because you’ll be in the presence of holiness. There’s no 3rd option and there shouldn’t be because it’s like telling God that He’s not enough and we prefer something better than what He’s offering us. I promise you that everything that you can ever need will be in Heaven. Follow God, obey his calling, and don't fall into Satan's trap. God wants you to be with him for eternity, He loves you and He has prepared a special place just for you in Heaven. God bless you!
