Minmaxing can also burn you out because it takes so long to level something like engineering that when you finally do die you will want to start over a lot less and feel like so much more time was lost. Imo

That fire elemental... mobs in classic dont care about vertical distance. If you dont know this, it is insane luck that you survived the ogre tower the other day 😆

Xar. I absolutely love your attitude towards HC. Doing elite quest, doing the harder challenging base quest, going into caves and dungeons, etc. The risk taking is what makes the game accelerating and exciting! I hope after you finish your mage you do another toon to level. If you raid or whatever on HC, that's cool too, but it's so much more entertaining watching someone level in HC than raid in HC.

I've wrote some rules I feel they should implement. Now if everyone agrees or not I say we send this up to the devs. Rules for REAL HC servers by blizzard. 1. No Trades, personalized loot. (Prevents the need of trades/mail/ah or buying items with RL money) 2. When you die and select release you are taken to the character creation screen. The toon is now disabled to log on and you can either delete or keep him/her there. 3. No groups of 5+ unless inside of a dungeo/raid. Once you get into the summoning stone range it will allow grouping to occur. Groups of 2 are only allowed and if one member of that group dies in the world the other instant dies to follow rules. 4. AH can't be used. Ore/mats/materials can all be purchased through vendors for in game currency. 5. No currencies exchanged.. no trades either except how we do when we enchant. All items soul bound

It's so sick how Xar is actually using his #1 Mage skill and knowledge of the class to pull off these sick ass plays. I can only imagine a lot of other players or different classes wouldn't even attempt this stuff

Pretty sure classic NPCs have infinite range if they are either below or above you. That's why towers are so dangerous since they can hit you from the top floor even if your at the bottom floor. Also water.

The dumbies tryna backseat game are hilarious. "ICE ARMOR!!" no that would spoil the pull when things get randomly frostbitten staggering the mob positions. You can aoe farm with 0 armor at all if you have perfect control of the mobs "DON'T S KEY" you don't understand how leeway works in classic if you think S key is bad. Your position updates more accurately and you won't get melee'd from really far if you're backpeddling.
