Baijiayi is a baby garment, made from pieces of cloth donated by 100 families, which is why they named it baijiayi or hundred families robe." It looks like Joseph's technicolour dream coat. It is worn for the childs protection. Such lovely customs, but this one came from wanting to ensure a childs longevity in times with few effective medicines. The genuine warmth just emanates from this family ❤

Thank you for explaining. In my family, baptismal clothing is passed from generation to generation. The baptismal gown I wore in 1962 was made in 1820. My christening gown was made in 1875. My confirmation lace was tatted in 1900, the Bible I held was from 1920, and my gown was made in 1930. After my confirmation, all the much blessed gowns, lace, and Bible were put back in a locked cedar chest to be given to my daughter. Unfortunately, it was all burned in a house fire at my auntie's.

Sometimes these videos fill my eyes with tears. I'm not sad, I'm just so touched by the familial closeness we've mostly lost in the western world. I didn't have a lot of help after I had my baby, so it's just touching how many people are excited for Rose and speaking love into the baby ❤❤❤

The bok choi we have in London could never match the quality or taste that you have there Rose.❤ I love being around the elders. For two reasons mainly, they can cook! Secondly I love listening to their stories and hearing about the local customs and traditions.❤ Rose dont buy anything for the baby. You are going to get so much stuff esp being on social media! Plus im sure you kept some of Anzai's stuff.😂 Is sending happiness and good health to the house!😆🥰🤗
