Life is in the tongue, 15 years of living with Lupus and I'm still going strong. Its very difficult in the beginning but it gets better with time. Sending you hugs. Keep the faith.

😭😭😭 This brought tears to my eyes considering the fact that I too am dealing with Liver Cirrhosis now. Sis please be strong and carry on the winners mentality. Mine was worse cos I was poor and broke at the same time with absolutely no one to help, I can't forget the pains and tears when de doctor told me I will be needing a liver transplant cos my liver was badly damaged. I knew I could never afford that even if my husband sold the only piece of land we had, my dad was dead and I had no one else to run to. I felt hopelessly hopeless and felt like committing suicide. But then I started to look for natural ways to heal myself it was tough but yes, I did, I made a change first with my diet, tried out alot of home remedies and the holy spirit helped me and showed me some that played key role to bringing me back to life. I am not perfectly fine yet but definitely alot better than I was months ago. My doc and everyone is still in shock and today I can talk to others about natural healing and home remedies, that's why I created this channel to help as many others as I could. Yes the disease was to kill me but it didn't and God has used it to teach me alot about life and to help others. So to anyone going Tru struggles right now, jus know that you will come out strong, just carry on that winners mentality and tell yourself no matter what I must win... I have been living with Lupus since I was 7. I'll be 26 this year. Two strokes, three kidney failures, and a whole lot of other small mishaps in the these kidneys of mine, and they aint going nowhere😅, they are going to die with me in the next 60+ years, when I die🙏🏼 because I said it, and God heard and stamped it. I'm living a great life and testifying on a daily basis. I'm in remission😊🤗. I have my awesome family, a great team of doctors, nurse's & therapists, and the I AM THAT I AM to thank. I can relate a lot to this lady. Lupus can be very cruel, but it's not a death sentence. A healthy lifestyle is all it takes, and we can have a normal lifespan. My sis is living with lupus, she successfully had a child with it, she also recently survived cancer as well. Have a positive mindset and remember that Nigerian doctors are not experienced with this condition so I will advise you not to hold their diagnosis of just 5years to live at heart. A lot of people live with lupus. It’s about a change in lifestyle. Healthy living such as complete change of nutrition and food/drink intake plus regular exercise to maintain a healthy weight. Reduce stress in your life by keeping away from environments and people that are not bringing peace to you. Do not see it as the end of your best life. It can lead to a revitalised life much more than 5 years. Do not accept that opinion as fact. Many are living a healthy life with the disease in remission ❤️🙏🏽

God still heals o. I had similar experience but am totally whole now even symptoms free. Moreso am currently pregnant. The doctors are now confused. My healing was actually miraculous, not a function of medicine.

I have been watching Kemi providing explanations on her ordeal when I felt overpowered by emotion. Indeed, health is something we value most under this sun! Why life can be so cruel against and unfair on some individuals at some point in their lives? What went wrong inside her body? Could it have been the exposure to the sun? The medication? Chemicals? The food? If she were to go back to the village and live the way our grand parents used to for at least for year, far away from city pollution, stressful life, stay away from additives in imported food and water, and switch back to purely African food etc.., could it make a difference? Oh Mighty Lord, what could be the message behind her ordeal? I suspect there could be one because the body must be reacting against something. But what could that something be? Yes, the culprit has been named and she has summoned her courage to face physical, motional and financial adversity. She has sold what she has in order to foot all those medical bills and her family is being supportive. For the condition being really challenging, facing the prospect of not going back to work, at least not in a foreseeable future, heightens her distress! How will she be able to cope financially because it may entail her travelling every now and then abroad for medical check-ups. Therefore, what about all those air tickets, doctors's fees, prescriptions, medical tests and the like? Dear African brethren, this condition has become very commonplace in Africa for some time now that it is high time health authorities and scientific communities from around Africa came together and drew up health policies to tackle this tricky and deceitful condition that could exterminate all of us. While on the subject, haven't some of us notice a friend, a family member or a neighbour being ill and going to hospital only to be told that 'it is just in his or her head/mind?'! I bet you have. There are people dying not knowing what they've been suffering from and physicians, particularly GPs, are not helping because they too do not know much about this condition. No wonder most of us would go from one church to another or native doctor to another in desperation to recover our health but to no avail. In some cases, we would resort to accusing family members and God knows how such cases have divided us. To Nigerian billionaires, the entertainment industry (music and cinema), and all Nigerians scattered around the world, we have hardly defeated the deadly bug - I won't name that wicked thing herein, yet other challenges are cropping up like mushrooms! They are in need of financial assistance to fight their condition! Our researchers, physicians and university hospitals too are desperate for funding to respectively look into its causes; get familiar with it so as to give accurate diagnoses and tailor suitable treatments; and supply them with high tech medical equipment, etc.... Please organise events to raise money to save our brethren, and the sooner the better because time is of the essence. To Kemi and family, from conception via birth up to when one passes away, each of us must struggle. Indeed, life is a perpetual struggle and one must be morally equipped to fight adversity every step of the way. The condition is there and there is no denying. The medics have spoken and given their ruling in accordance with their current scientific knowledge. However, we must not underestimate the power of the mind and the body to overcome conditions and cases considered hopeless by the medical world. But most of all, God has not given his ruling over the case yet! It is out of question to lose hope. Certainly not! In addition to the medical treatment Kemi is taking, may I suggest those around her wade into those fora on the internet to share with people who have the same condition and who may have some helpful information that can be put to good use. Please consult a nutritionist too, who will tailor a good regimen for her, be supportive and avoid stressing her out. As for me, I will be adding her case on my list of pleas to be submitted to the MIGHTY LORD during our conversations. To those who may find me bossy or pretentious in my long response, I sincerely beg your pardon. I am not giving orders but I am just suggesting we care for one another rather than having to rely on others to do it. If others have succeeded in doing it for their own benefits, we too can do it.
