Emily's cutscenes are so funny, because she keeps on hinting that it's fated that my character and her would eventually grow close together. This was after I married Shane btw.
It doesn't have to be romantic. Maybe some time after the game, you introduce Emily to Rasmodius, and she becomes his apprentice. Or maybe you help Emily and Sandy form a clothing business in Pelican Town. There are so many possibilities.
I did think the same thing when I encountered Emily's heart scenes. But then I realized that maybe, perhaps, the Wizard is one hell of a pimp. I'd like to think Abigail and Emily are both his daughters, but he isn't aware of a second one. Emily is more likely to be the daughter of the Witch and the Wizard, but Abigail is the daughter of the Wizard and what's her name.
Emily is probably one of my genuinely favorite people in the valley, but her portrait has always looked a bit uncanny to me, maybe because she has a unique mouth shape compared to the other bachelorettes?

I got the clothing therapy cutscene after marrying Maru. Clint still says "congrats". everyone seems to forget the farmer is married when you get cutscenes late, smh
I'm so glad you finally did this Nino!! I can understand people not liking Emily ROMANTICALLY, I can understand her not being someone's type. But so many people HATE her! How can you hate Emily she's so sweet!!! She's genuinely kind-hearted, she's kind to you from beginning to end of her storyline and she's kind to everyone in Stardew Valley. She's a hardworking and family-oriented woman, she works to provide for her little sister while their parents are away and does practically all the housework as well, while Haley sits and complains about having to do even just one single chore; even after you marry her she continues working her job at the Saloon because she obviously still wants to be at least somewhat independent even though she could easily just be a housewife/stay-at-home-mom and let us the rich farmer take care of her completely and honestly even though they never address it in the game she's sending money back to Haley so she can take care of herself without her. And the situation surrounding her parrot speaks for itself. Emily is literally the perfect woman.
You spoke my mind! I do like how Emily is possibly the only marriage candidate who is legitimately into the Farmer, which is why most of her events are her trying to charm us rather than the opposite like every other bachelors / bachelorettes.
Emily might just be my fav bachelorette, idk she seems so fun and I’d love to be friends with her, and I feel like she’s the only one who has a reallly unique cool personality lol. Plus as someone who tries to be as optimistic as possible it’s nice that she’s super optimistic 😭
I hate that term but she has an easygoing charm that doesn’t feel like I’m being used like Haley’s. She actually seems like somebody that would love the fact you like her and you wouldn’t have to feel any guilt with her
That's really because she's the only girl trying to "rizz" you pre-marriage. Visits and complements your farm, hints at her secret hobby, regularly sends gifts etc. She's just all around friendly and playful around you. Clint and Shane could never.
Really? That's so interesting. I've felt that towards other people in the game before, but never Emily. Most of the candidates for dating express a similar sentiment of being an "outsider" of sorts. In fact she's probably the last person out of all of the dateable NPCs I'd guess is autistic 😂
@@sinbingaming4419 Being different or weird is not autism lol most of the dateable NPCs have similar experiences or say similar things. She's not even really all that weird, she's just into spiritualism and different things than the other townspeople. She's totally in touch with her movements and body, dances in front of everyone, tons of hobbies, she's a dedicated worker who works at a BAR every night, she is great at connecting with people and is comfortable in front of a camera. The game doesn't really suggest that there are or were ever struggles with any of this. If she's autistic, than who isn't?

i think emily is the wizards daughter in the village because her eyes are purple/red and you appear in her dream and she can sense strong auras and is all naturey close as the wizard

When I was on my first playthrough I was dedicated to marring Penny. But then Clint had me give Emily a gem on his behalf, and that happened to be the thing to trigger her 4 heart event (Birb adoption). Her genuine concern and quirky yet loving personality instantly won me over and she is consistently my favorite bachelorette.
In fiction, Emily is fun. In reality, I would stay five kilometers way from her at all times because I'd be scared I'd get drugged. Or she'd try to give me crystals to cure my allergies.
Emily has a lot of appeal but I don’t think vanilla expresses it well. She’s super earnest and upbeat and has a cutesy energy. Not to mention she’s actually like fit for a farming lifestyle
Fun story about me and Emily. Love was just about the last thing on my mind, even after Welwick's fortune thing said I would be lonely, my highest friendship level was 2 hearts. I was still fairly new to the game and didn't know or care how the social aspect worked. And then Clint asked me for a favor. He wanted me to deliver an amethyst to Emily. I obliged, but only because I was going to be getting paid for it. I did NOT expect her to kiss me. That was it. I fell in love on the spot. I swore I would do anything and everything to make her happy, and we got married early spring of year two. It's been almost twenty in-game years now, and I still have that save file. It makes me happy.
Aww so sweet, for my love story is bit more uhh playerish. So I married Shane, then divorced him for Penny and then divorced her to start dating all the dateable characters. But first one I choose was Emily, and in the end I choose between her and Elliot and went with her. I only got up to year 9 with so far, but I don’t regret it.
When i first befriended emily it scared me because i have the same name and same personality and used to have short blue hair, it just felt so odd like looking in a weird mirror 😂

I've thought Emily was the wizards daughter for a while because I'm not sure if y'all have seen it yet, but if you get to a certain amount of hearts with a avail she says "I was thinking of dying my hair •again•, what color should I dye it this time?" Implying she has dyed her hair before, most likely purple. Soooo- plus emily is just yknow.. Emily? And she acts like she could be the wizards daughter.
I like Emily because she's witchy. I am glad I am not only one who sees it. I am also kinda witchy and drawn to witchy girls. I had and have witchy friends. If Emily was real person I would befriend her and even try to date her. I like her vibes and she remindes me of my dear friend I used to have.

If you complete clints quest to give Emily a amethyst, she kisses you on the cheek which explains why clint acts that way during the clothing thepary cut scene
Isn't there one where she tries to set the parrot free but it can't fly anymore? That's why she ends up keeping the parrot although she didn't name it because she wanted it to be free again after healing its' wing.
